Description

The Salvador is a new and fresh design that incorporates a gorgeous Brazilian rosewood lacquer finish with striking wood grain characteristics. This humidor is designed with a low and wide stance set on top of 4 polished silver feet for a commanding look and feel. Opening the Salvador's lid exposes a set of side by side removable trays each with an adjustable divider. Just underneath the trays is an additional storage area with an adjustable divider to further section off your cigar collection. On the underside of the lid, a set of coordinated polished silver humidifiers and a silver framed digital hygrometer (battery included) are in place to maintain and monitor humidity levels. The hygrometer displays temperature and relative humidity. One the Salvador's most notable attributes is an invisible steel lining that is built-in to the lid. This allows the humidifiers and hygrometer to attach magnetically without the need for any double faced tape or two-sided hook/loop tape. Magnets are recessed into the back of the humidifiers and hygrometer for easy "set & go" mounting right onto the underside of the lid. If you have a need to relocate your humidifiers or hygrometer, just lift and place them into a new spot or slide them anywhere into position! Also includes a matching silver lock and key set. The Salvador provides its owner with a spacious interior capable of storing up to 250 cigars. A fantastic distinctive design at a great price.

I received this humidor yesterday, impeccably packaged and in good condition. Took 2 days to receive it. The humidor looks gorgeous in the living room, and inside strongly smells like cedar. I could store ~150 cigars, recognizing that more than half of them were larger than standard robustos (Churchill, magnum, toro and belicoso). I was able to cure the humidor fast in 24 hours by following instructions, and so far is maintaining stable humidity at c. 75%. Will see whether it can sustain these humidity levels in the long run, but so far I am terribly happy with the purchase. 100% recommended. ... show more

This is an amazing value for the size and quality of this humidor. I wasn’t sure what to expect at this price, and am happy to say it far exceeded my expectations. As usual, I’m not sure what the manufacturers use when stating capacity. Perhaps they’re counting with cigarillos? If I go super cigar jenga, with multiple sizes, I would guess the capacity to be 150-175. The lower section is only tall enough to stack 2 cigars high. The top trays you could stack 3 high depending on placement of your humidifiers and hygrometer on the lid. At any rate, if you’re looking for a well made, nice to look at humidor, with good capacity, and without breaking the bank, you can’t lose with this! ... show more

I needed a new humidor to replace my worn out twenty year old humidor so I shopped around and this one seemed to be the best for my needs and my budget. It looks great, took well and quickly to seasoning, and has innovative features such as a metal plate sandwiched in between the lid veneers so you can put magnetic humidifiers or hygrometers anywhere you want. No more opening your humidor to see a humidifier sitting on top of your cigars with the metal part that the magnet attached to still attached to it. Although the included humidifiers seem to be of high quality and digital hygrometer is fine. This humidor has an overall feeling of quality and even non-smokers say that it is beautiful. I gave it a 4/5 (it would be 4.5/5 if I could) because I wish it held more cigars, but other than that it is just about the perfect humidor for the price and I recommend it wholeheartedly. If it was a bit taller and had one more row of pull-out trays I would easily give this a 5/5, heck I'd give it a 6/5 then! ... show more

This Humidor is as nice as advertised with a stunning finish but subdued look and tho large still looks a bit less ostentatious than the more boxy, tall shaped units. The delivery from Neptune was about a week in coming and arrived in undamaged condition with a 10% discount coupon for a future Neptune purchase. Neptune's website says they are the largest cigar store in Miami. I had no idea. Upon arrival and inspection I found the screen on the matching Digital Hygrometer had gone bad. I took a photo and emailed Neptune asking for some sort of similar replacement. They quickly replied with apologies, saying they would contact the manufacturer and send me a matching replacement asap. Within the week I received the new matching, working hydrometer! What Excellent Service! Props to Neptune Cigar on customer service and prompt delivery. Purchasing a Cigar Oasis electronic humidifier, I can report it will fit using the std water container, but as the head room is slim in this humidor, I'd suggest ordering the Cigar Oasis Excel short cartridge for a better fit. ... show more

This is humidor is a terrific value. I've had it now for several months and it's working perfectly. The process of treating it went very quickly and I had all of my cigars moved in within a couple of days. I check the humidity every 30 days or so, and I've had no problems keeping it right around 70%. The lid creates a good, solid, seal, so the humidity stays inside. The only consideration is the space that you have to keep it in. This is a big box. The trade off though is that it's really pretty, so having it out in the open is no big deal. I've got mine on my bar and it fits right in. The number of cigars it holds will of course vary depending on the size of the cigars your keeping, but I've got around 100 in it now and there's room to spare. ... show more
