I used this to blast a fender on a tractor and was pleasantly surprised by its efficiency. It was easy to set up and to begin using. I used just regular play sand and while it did work, its SUPER abrasive to the tips. The only problem I ran into was a user error, some water dripped down into by sand bucket and caused my sand to stick together resulting in no more suction, but when used with dry sand this works well and exactly as described. ... show more

    • Sand blasting with water has is so much better than dry sand blasting
I've used a regular sand blaster outside and it was a dusty mess, so I figured water blasting has to be better. The thing I found confusing when I checked what sand that should be used. Everyone has a different opinion about what sand to use. I'm going to start with the cheaper options until I find what works for me. I suffered an accident after I ordered so I haven't been able to use it yet. The media could not be loaded. This is a very simple tool. I think I'm going to build a little cabinet to clean small parts. I saw some glass beads at the hardware store I'm going to try. It is very inexpensive and very portable.
