  • First False Nails— Tips
Pattern Name: 14-Falling Star Cat Eye
The media could not be loaded. Bought the color FALLING STAR CAT EYE and added photo/video as it’s hard to tell what the color really looks like. 💜🩶🦄💿 It is definitely more mauve/silvery pale purple than the pink shown in the 1st photo. They look exactly like the product flatlay photos. 💭 OVERALL RATINGS: - Quality: 10/10, looks professional - Ease: 9/10, easy but possible to F up (tips below) - Kit: 10/10, love the sizes and tools, but I used diff glue - Price: 9/10, WAY cheaper than professional acrylics or gels, can’t compare to other false sets - Longevity: ?/10, feels sturdy but will update - Health: ?/10, hopefully less damaging than gel, will update This is the first time I’ve used press on nail tips. I prefer to do my own nails, but needed something both sturdy and stunning for an upcoming event, and gel destroys my nails. So far, so good (mostly): ✅ TIPS: - NON-GEL APPLICATION ❌ Why do so many tutorials include gel for falsie application?! Here’s what i did WITHOUT GEL: File your nail surface, dehydrate with included wipe, place tab, spread glue over the sticky tab/your nail, and spread glue on the falsie itself. Press together hard 60sec. - FILE THE FALSIES!! ✂️ Choose the nail size that best fits/covers your nail. But FILE THE FALSE NAIL TO FIT!!! I didn’t file on my left hand as the fit seemed good enough, and my thumb in particular hurts a bit where the corner is digging into my nail bed. 🥴 The base of these is square so if you have round nail beds, don’t make my mistake. I filed the nail bed of the falsies for my thumb and 1st finger on my right hand and they are totally comfortable. - ALIGN THE NAILS!! 📐 Y’all, I glued one on crooked 😭 I realized immediately, but it was already stuck down. When you start placing the nail down at a 45 degree angle, hold your hand out and gauge if it’s crooked, then adjust the angle slightly before pressing firmly. (If you glue one crooked, file to make it less obvious) - BEWARE THE GLUE!! ☠️ I used an external brand. This s#%+ is like super glue. I’m serious. I got a tiny bit on my finger as I was pressing down, and it got on the nail itself, leaving a dry patch i could not 100% remove. Also, if you get it on your skin, get your skin away from the nail IMMEDIATELY before it dries. - DO NOT PRESS TOO FAR IN! ✋🏼 On my right hand, I was more conservative with how much I pressed the nails down into my nail bed. They don’t feel like they’re digging in and are way more comfy. Still press them very hard, just don’t shove them into your cuticles. - TOP COAT!!! 🫧 I noticed the layers of the false nails separating slightly when I filed them. I used my normal clear coat overtop and over the tip of the nail to seal everything together, and cover up the little glue scuff on one nail. 100% recommend. ‼️ OVERALL RECOMMENDATION: - If you are a nail girlie, I think these will change your life lol. 20$ for a manicure that looks professional and holds up is a steal. 💸 - Howeverrrrr…. I don’t typically get my nails done. My nails grow fast and are strong, so I bought these purely for the look. This medium length is the longest I’m comfortable going, and suit a special event more than my everyday life. 💅🏽 - For me, I cannot say whether I will do this process again until I see how much of a b%^% the removal is (will update 🫡 ) Honestly, I suspect damage because I’m not kidding when I say the nail glue I used smelled and looked exactly like super glue. I have no idea how I’ll get it off. Im scared 😭🤣 I’ll try again with just this brand kit to compare glues. If these don’t damage my nails, I will 100% use for special events in the future. 💓💃🏻 ... show more

  • Loooooooove these nails!
Pattern Name: 14-Falling Star Cat Eye
These nails are awesome. Absolutely love them. Will not be going back to nail salon for my nails......ever.....maybe for my feet so I can get foot massage ☺️ I washed dishes, my hands etc... without gloves and the nails lasted for 2 weeks (exactly 14 days) before 1, just one came off. I used nail glue on nail and put the sticky nail tab (so I used both). Definitely getting more, lots more. Love the look, length and shape! Just right not too long, not too short. Did not chip......at all. Best part, didn't wait hours to get my nails done. Actually had fun putting nails on. Super easy and they look Fabulous. ... show more

  • Great BTArtbox quality, just a little thick
Pattern Name: 17-Rock Star
BTArtbox has some of the best quality press on nails in the game and are one of the few brands that I regularly purchase from. I typically order their small almond sizes, and haven't really strayed from that over the last year or so. I bought the short square nails in "Rockstar" with the silver tips because they were very cute and I wanted to branch out a little. Of course, these nails are durable and fit better than almost any other brand's press ons, and I intend to keep these nails on for another couple of weeks if I can. My only complaint is that these nails are a bit thicker than I'm used to. Maybe it's because they are square and not almond-shaped, making the thickness of the nails more noticeable, but unlike the other BTArtbox nails I've worn in the past, these are thick looking and definitely could not pass as natural or even as salon-done gel nails. They have a sort of "acrylic" style look and feel to them. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed!
Pattern Name: 14-Vanilla Cream Almond
Nails held up great! Love that this brand provided the adhesives as well as the glue - I prefer to use the adhesives. Also, when I was finished, I was able to pop off the nail, take the adhesive off and put aside to use another time. Definitely worth the money and they look great! Good quality too, as they were not too thin or flimsy. Will be adding this brand to my go-to's for press on nails! ... show more

  • Never going back to the nail salon again
Pattern Name: 17-Be Elegant
Absolutely amazing quality. I haven't used press on nails since the 80s. I am growing out my salon nails and these covered and still look amazing. So easy to put on! Oh how much time and money I will be saving! Now I can get colored nails. I only got french so when they grew out they didn't look so hideous. Now that I will save so much money, I won't care. I did buy a separate glue called curvlife. ... show more
