It does a great job holding up the muffler after mine broke. I used it on a 2008 Mazda, Mazda 3 with a 2.0 engine. I did have to modify it a bit cause it was too long so I had to cut part of it but other then that it worked great.

    • Good product, Main hangar is kind of flimsy

Overall this is a great product for the price point, but it does have its flaws. If not of what I am about to type bothers you, then I would definitely recommend the product. When installing the hangar, The actual part that gets insterted into the frame mount needs to have more of a hook to it, so it doesn't just slide right back out again. Luckily the metal is soft enough that you can do this yourself. Just ensure you do it AFTER you hang it to make it easier to insert into the mount. The soft metal of the main shaft piece can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. If you are putting this on a vehicle that will see some off road action or you just drive very, very aggressively then I would recommend something more rigid. When I went to tighten it enough so that the new muffle wouldn't move from side to side while driving, the shaft piece bent and now has a curve to it. It doesn't bother me and won't really affect everything wince this is a Sunday drive kind of vehicle, but I caution others. ... show more
