Job made easy since there was a slight difference in the pipe diameters, this clamp molded itself to each side of the two pipes being joined and clamped/molded around the pipes fitting snugly as the clamp is tightened. Good luck getting these 2.5" butt clamps on a 2.5" pipe. Too small but work well on 2.25 inch pipes. Lesson learned and time and money wasted having to reorder larger clamps.

    • Mine worked well for 4inch pipe.

So far so Good. I used then to straight pipe a 07 ram 2500 removed muffler stuck 4in piece of pipe in and these clamps are holding it all together great. There is a little bit of leakage around the bottoms of the clamps but nothing real noticeable with the sound of a straight pipe coming out the rear. ... show more
