I have ordered this rainbow pack three times now and I love the colors in this set. I started making friendship bracelets as something to do to relax after a long day of working from home during quarantine and I became completely addicted! This floss is soft and easy to use, does not fray (too much) and looks beautiful in the finished product. I'm now going to start trying to embroider with it on the face masks I've been sewing, looking forward to trying that out. The only negative thing I have to say is that the way the bundles come packaged they definitely have a tendency to get knotted up way too easily when pulling out the amount of thread needed and I do spend a lot of time untangling before I can cut a piece off to use but other than that this is great floss and I will continue to buy it when I run out again. ... show more

This is a great value, and I’m glad I purchased it. Be aware this is not super smooth floss. It tangles on itself and everything else easily. I would not use this for precision embroidery, but for the freestyle embroidery art I do, it’s a good addition to my palette.

Great quality cotton thread. Bought this for my teenage daughter's art/craft projects, & she's had a lot of fun using it to make different things. This thread is very strong & soft, not itchy like other brands we've tried in past. My daughter made me a thin braided bracelet & I wear it in the shower, it's been pulled & hanged on by a toddler numberless times & still holds it's shape, hasn't frayed, or broken. Honestly, I've been surprised how it's held up considering the unintended abuse it's taken. BEAUTIFUL variety of colors to choose from, possibility of color combinations are endless, one of things my daughter loved most about it (& that it was also soft against the skin). I am very happy with this purchase. I have used the items and they work well for my needs. I teach kids how to sew (like felt projects). The thread is a little dry, so a little lotion or the wax works to make it smooth works great. The color selection was nice, and I have more than one of each shade. The colors are current and vary from pastel to brights. The colors are not tagged with any numbers, so I am not sure this would work for everyone. The price was great, and the box is perfect. I'm a beginner at embroidery, and after doing a kit, I wanted to make my own designs so I decided to buy some thread. I didn't want to spend too much because I'm a beginner amateur. I was a little worried because some other reviews mention thread breaking or being horribly tangled, but I haven't had any issues! The product is as advertised, the thread isn't tangled, it's not breaking, it's working just fine. I did machine wash one of my projects, and no issues with the colors running. Bought this to make friendship bracelets. Decent embroidery floss for the price, but you get what you pay for. It frays easily and is noticeably thinner than the DMC floss at the fabric store. This makes enough of a difference making knots - they are smaller. Also, the dye on the thread is a bit uneven and splotchy. Overall good enough thread for a beginner such as myself who doesn't need high quality thread right away. I won't be purchasing again. ... show more
