I’ve was getting big pimples all over the back of my upper thighs (under my booty) and as well on the sides of my thighs so badly that I ended up going to see my dermatologist. Long story short, the first thing my Dr. asked was if I ever exfoliate my body which was actually shocking to hear. I honestly thought exfoliating was just to make your skin soft .. anyway, I’m stupid. It turns out that when you have dry skin like me, when you don’t exfoliate the dead skin cells clump up and it causes a breeding ground for bacteria. Well, usually I would of turned to one of those natural carwash-esque body sponges but I vividly remember how they all fall apart in the shower and clog the drain, thus, in my continued search until I found this brand of sponges. You guys, this sponge is an awesome exfoliator. First of all, technically this isn’t even a sponge - it does not hold any water (it does but you’ll see what I mean if you buy it) so lathering actually works best if you get the sponge wet first then add soap and THEN letting the scrubbing action happen on ur wet skin with No extra water to do the work for you. This method works tremendously well for exfoliating and this statement comes from someone who would use 50 grit sandpaper if it was normal. Y’all.. this is the roughest yet gentlest sponge I’ve ever exfoliated my body with — like, if you have KP or severe dry cracking skin then you want this product because depending on the force used, you can either gently/casually clean yourself with it or completely scrape off your stratum corneum. I enjoy option 2. I hate to admit but my skin is so soft and clear from this sponge, it actually healed ALL of the skin issues that I was having and you can’t even tell I was having pimples nearly the size of boils, just a lesson I guess kids - exfoliate!!!! (With this sponge) I’m not bald but I use this in my scalp and it’s heaven and I think it’s made my hair thicker by stimulating my scalp. If you have a man in your life that’s bald he would probably love this. Before I finish this review it’s worth noting that this sponge does not hold water so it air dries every day and never gets moldy. I ordered this to try something different. I was skeptical at first since it didnt look like what I expected and seemed rough. It actually works like a charm! I use it now when I take a shower and my skin feels softer than before. Just remember to run it through water first so it expands and won't be too rough on the skin. ... show more

I was looking for a natural sponge for body wash, and after reading reviews, I decided on this one. For the price, you get multiple sponges in a pack. When you first open them, the sponge is flat. After running it under water, the sponge opens up to a nice sized sponge. Upon first use, the sponge is very stiff. Almost feels like a dry brush. I personally liked it, but if you are expecting soft like a plastic loofa, it won’t feel like that at first. (that's what she said), but really, this loofah, or sponge, or ex-living organism as my baby mama likes to call it, is big and thick, like a good one, like a healthy hoss that can exfoliate large surfaces on a large body. Maybe a small matter, but synthetic loofahs come undone, fake sponges start crumbling early on, whereas this was a pack of three and weeks later, the first one is still clearing my skin of the day's muck from head to toe, no sweat! ... show more

Love this product! They are not soft but you don’t really want this product to be. They last a while but definitely recommend changing them maybe every 6 months, or when they get too soft. I use mine every day and feel that I am getting my body cleaner than using a wash cloth. I hate the synthetic ones, I don’t think they work well and I purchase this brand because they are natural and I believe not made in China. ... show more

These are exactly what I was looking for! So much better than a plastic loofah. Excellent exfoliation, has a nice, very subtle natural scent. I’ve been using for a couple months and it’s holding up well durability-wise. I will definitely be ordering more!

I will never feel as clean as I would showering and using these to scrub my body. They are amazing for exfoliation and deep cleaning. If you are up to step it up a notch, tear it in the middle where you can use the middle part to scrub, and it's 10x more abrasive (HEART EYES) I love them!
