    • Very nice unit... beware shipping issues

This unit is attractive, runs quietly and seems to be well made. Only non-shipping related issue was that one of the shelf mounting strips was .3" lower than all the others so one corner of the shelves is unsupported. Not hard to fix with a spacer, but that was the only quality control issue I encountered. Shipping was another matter... I ordered first unit and it arrived, as scheduled, with driver courteously moving unit into my small retail shop. Only problem is once it was unpacked the unit seemed to have been run into by several forklifts in its travels - maybe dropped off a loading bay - who knows. Sadly, it was unusable with dents, crumples, punctures and the unit separating at a seam inside the unit from shipping abuse. Sad to have to return it. Contacted Amazon and passed around to different reps. A date and time was set for pick up. Waited around all day and nobody showed up despite emails and texts reminding me to be available at the set time. No follow up by shipping company. Called Amazon back and they said they saw that a pick up was scheduled and don't know why it didn't happen. They rescheduled. I waited around a second day (10 days after the first date) - nobody showed up. Contacted shipping company this time with info supplied by Amazon. They said, "Oh, you are in a remote place. Amazon schedules stuff often without actually knowing if the timing can be met... we get this all the time. Actually we don't even work in your area and had to subcontract to a local carrier". It was a frustrating situation and is still being navigated almost a month after the original delivery date.. THEN... we ordered a replacement unit and it was delivered as scheduled but this shipping company said, "Oh, no we don't deliver inside a building". So I had to wheel a 252lb unit down one step and into the building with my own dolly, which I was capable of doing, but not everyone would be. As it turned out, this unit also suffered some dents and punctures which were primarily cosmetic. Also the automatic door closer (a piece of plastic at the bottom of the door) was snapped in two. I give Premium Levella a lot of credit for how they handled this. They are getting me a replacement auto door closer part and have refunded 30% of the purchase price due to the damage. It seemed fair and they were quick to respond. I would recommend this unit, but wanted to relate the many shipping issues just so others are aware. I would also suggest that Premium Levella consider protecting their items better (improving the packing of their units) to help avoid damage in shipping. ... show more

I do like these refrigerators, however, there are some things you might want to know. In terms of the ACTUAL units, they are beautiful. I really like how they look, the size, etc. and the fact they keep things cold - they are first class. However, in terms of function, the shelves will not stay put, so if you're lifting something off them, like a tray of cookies or a flat of eggs, the shelf will pop out and come with it, usually falling to the floor and injuring a knee, shin or ankle on the way, as well as damaging itself as is crashes to the floor, which means now I have to take the time to go wash and sanitize it. Happens CONSTANTLY. It's very irritating that I can't easily slide cookies or cakes or eggs out of the fridge without 4 hands or a headache or an injury. If you were using this as display for customers, I'd be wary of an accident for your customers, depending on what they were removing. One Coke, okay, but if the shelf is getting empty or something larger is being removed you will have trouble. The other thing was one of two things I feared with delivery - that either they would arrive damaged from the freight company or that they would arrive DOA. The second happened - my first unit was dead on arrival. It was hell for me because i desperately needed this added cooler space for a wedding I was working on and it made my life really hard for two additional weeks waiting for a replacement. They first sent a service person out who walked in the room, didn't touch the unit, wasn't within three feet of the unit, and proclaimed it was not fixable. He was a blithering idiot, however, he is not associated with their company - just a serviceman they sent out. It then took a while for the seller to 'get that report', again, not the sellers fault. I do feel they expedited things as much as humanly possible, I'll give them that, they were on it, and they were nice to me, and understood the pickle this put me in, and I really really appreciated that, but a dead on arrival product is a pain, and I've seen others describe it in the reviews as well. The experience has made me a little nervous about the new one - is it OK? Will it continue to work for me? Will I have problems down the road? I dunno, I hope not because I really do love these and you'll like it, too, as long as it arrives in undamaged condition AND it actually works. As to the shelf issue, no one is going to like that. The shelves need a retrofit done to them so they STAY PUT. If the company could manufacture some rubber grommets or something to keep the shelves from flying out and performing a Nancy Kerrigan knee injury every time you pulled stuff out of the fridge, that'd be awesome. ... show more

This is a replacement for a "Man-Cave" refrigerator that was damaged in the flood. I don't think this is as heavy-duty as the commercial unit I had before. The unit came undamaged which was a concern as the reviews I read said theirs came damaged. Mine was perfect. It is much more quiet that the previous unit and it cools quickly. It also has a light display at the top that you can have decals fabricated to your liking. I am happy with the purchase and think this will make a nice man cave addition. ... show more

The fridge arrived with good packaging, however, there was still some damage to the back top panel but it’s minor and doesn’t effect the performance of the cooler and with it being in the back I was okay keeping it. When I plugged it in it was quiet but when the fan kicked in it made a loud rattling noise that was unbearable. I contacted their support and had a support member listen to the sound and he agreed that it shouldn’t be that loud. He asked me to send video and proof of purchase and they would schedule a tech to come look at the issue. I waited for over a week and didn’t get a response after reaching out a couple more times. Then my brother visited and I showed him the problem and in less than 10 mins he fixed it. It appears that the front panel where the fan is located was not bolted securely and when the fan kicked on it would hit a metal plate in the back causing it to rattle and shake. He added a thin piece of styrofoam between the two plates and screwed it tightly. Noise gone. I’m keeping the unit but wanted to say I was disappointed in their support service.
