I've been using this a few times per week to detox. I wasn't sure how the infrared lights would actually penetrate my skin since they are behind the fabric but from what I've read online it will still have an effect. The blanket does get pretty hot even at level 4 out of six. So far I've only made it to about 15 minutes on level four before feeling like I'm overheating and getting weak. The maximum it can go is 60 minutes on level 6 but you can always restart the timer if that's not enough time. It is a bit of a hassle to have to clean up the sweat inside after each use. That is the trade-off of having a cheaper sauna blanket versus a wood sauna that would absorb the sweat. It is recommended to wear cotton clothes inside the sauna blanket to absorb the sweat. Remember that sweat doesn't usually contain toxins or microbes and doesn't really need to be disinfected. The goal is for the heat and infrared to stimulate liver detox. Good luck in your detox journey. This is a great addition. I'm 5'6 and fit just fine inside of it and could see someone a little taller than 6 ft fitting inside as well. It is a bit heavy and feels like a weighted blanket. Once you're inside you're not going to want to move around much. It's nice to just put on a TV show and a zone out for the duration. ... show more

I am very happy with my new All Star Warrior Premium Infrared Portable Sauna blanket. As soon as I received it I opened it up to try it. The operation manual tells you about using the controller but not how to set up the blanket however it is pretty self explanatory. There is a list of people who should not use the blanket that needs to be reviewed before using it. The product description says that using this blanket for 10 minutes is equal to a jog for an hour, a swim for a half hour, yoga for 30 minutes or 200 sit ups, etc. I sure hope so as I can no longer do any of those. Not sure I believe that stuff but I we shall see if I emerge from this cocoon looking like a new man. Here is how my first experience went. I placed it on my floor on a carpet, connected the controller then laid down to get in . The blanket was easy to close around me. I had it opened flat, laid down, then pulled it over me and connected the velcro strips. I could have also connected the velcro then slid in from the top. Once inside it fell like a weighted blanket. Being a solar blanket rookie I was worried about overdoing it so I set the heat on 3 for 10 minutes. I found it takes a while to heat up so I should have turned in on few a few minutes before entering it. The 10 minutes went by and I was feeling fine so I bumped it up to heat level 4 for 10 more minutes. I then put on some Zen music and an eye cover then laid back to relax. The 10 minutes went by quickly but I did get out, as again, I did not want to do too much on the first try. I found the experience tranquil and relaxing. I really enjoyed it. The blanket was easy to refold and fit back into the carrying case. While I am looking forward to any positive health benefits I also am happy just to use it for a nice and restful and relaxing experience. The product works well and is well built.     • Great quality. Enjoyable and relaxing to use.
I had to research what this was before I decided to order it. I had never heard of anything like this. I always wanted to enjoy the benefits of a sauna, but I just couldn’t stand the heat. I thought this blanket would be a good compromise. I did learn that it is recommended to wear light clothing when using it. Nothing in the product description mentioned that. I’m glad I did some research before ordering. I have some old lightweight sweatpants, an old top and socks that have worked well. I wanted to test it out for a while to see how it worked over time and at different temperatures. I’m pleased that it has worked perfectly for the 3 weeks that I’ve been using it. I tend to use it before bed. I turn it on while I’m getting ready for bed so it will be heated before I use it. I started with the lowest temperature for 10 minutes and worked up to level 4 for up to 30 minutes. It does get very hot, and it’s not even on the highest level. The blanket is marketed as lightweight, but that’s relative, I guess. I’m a petite woman and found the blanket to be on the heavy side. But it’s manageable. It’s easy to use. But I wish the instructions would have shown how best to get in and out of it. I had to go back to the online photos to see how it was supposed to be set up. The control is large, easy to use and has big numbers that are easy to read. I wish this one had openings for the arms, though. All in all, this sauna blanket is heavy-duty and seems like it will last a long time. It’s easy to use and has a sufficient temperature range.     • Who needs a spa???
Who needs a spa when you can have this AMAZING sauna blanket in the comfort of your home? I was a little skeptical when I saw sauna blankets becoming popular online but let me tell you, this has been life changing. I have had this sauna blanket for a few weeks now and it has made me feel great. My aches and pains are starting to become better, my skin is looking flawless, and I feel it has made a little progress in my weight loss journey. It's extremely easy to set up, get into, and clean after uses. I am shocked (in the best way possible!) at how hot it gets. I would recommend turning on the blanket a few minutes prior to use for full effect because it takes a bit to warm up. The instructions on how to actually set-up the blanket are nonexistent. I don't like when I have to use guesswork to use a product. The blanket itself works fine. You just have to give it a while to heat up. You'll definitely feel like you've ben in the sauna after about 30 minutes.

I love this because the heat is just perfect. I like the idea of laying down for a sauna experience because it seems to help you relax better. The material is made very well. The product is quite easy to use and it’s also easy to wipe down.
