My husband and I have been struggling to cut open yellow tennis balls to put on his walker. This is much much easier on our hands, not to mention our kitchen knives. However they are not as strong as your typical yellow tennis balls and will wear out much faster. I bought these since they were less expensive to protect my wood floors and it served it's purpose. It comes with spares which I haven't used. The walker is only used indoor so I don't know well they would hold off outside but I'm satisfied.

I recently had back surgery, so I have had to use a walker. Putting tennis balls on the back part of the walker has made it much easier to maneuver. They also protect my hardwood floors.
