The media could not be loaded. I’ve always loved plasma globes, ever since I bought my first one 25 years ago. This little guy has been a lot of fun. The ability to run it off of batteries or a simple USB cord is great. The unit itself is well-made. Even after dropping it on a thin carpet a couple of times, it has shown no harm. The weird behavior of the multi-colored tendrils is a delight to watch. Touching the globe with anything organic — such as a finger — is fascinating. Go ahead and buy the darn thing. Cheaply made it should have a secondary fuse that turns it off every ten mins since it can't handle the more then that. Not worth $5. This is so cheaply made it should be a hand out item like key chains or coasters
