This set is awesome! My Mazda 3 GT stopped well before. Now it stops on a dime! I had to warn my 15 year old that the cars behind him can't stop nearly as fast, so make sure they aren't to close to your rear bumper if you can help it! I wasn't sure at first. But after they wear in for a couple of weeks, they seem to get better and better. I have to be careful driving our other cars because this brake and rotor combination now has me spoiled! These are far nicer than I expected for the price. All boxes are labeled with corner placement. The shipping box was very durable, with everything inside individually boxed. I was worried this heavy box wouldn't survive shipping undamaged, but I was incorrect. Also there was no rust on any of rotors as they are also in sealed bags within the boxes. ... show more

I had these professionally installed while I was already having the alignment and some other things done to my 2004 Mazda 3 Hatch. They look great and stop better than the old stock ones that were on it. I'm not racing this thing but i care about safety and these fit the bill for me. I've had them on there for about 2 months now and there have been no noises or other issues. So I can't speak to the ease of installation but I am happy with the end results. ... show more

    • Wrong size twice, went with duralast
So a little misleading label on the ad made me get the wrong size rotors/pads. Put the back rotors in, thought they fit fine, went to do the fronts, and they were way off. Way too big. Called and got a replacement for the front rotors, only for them to send the wrong size.. this time even bigger. I’m not gonna lie, the product itself is nicely packaged and seems solid enough; but the fact I couldn’t even use them is what got me a little heated. Ended up buying duralast front rotors instead only to put them on and realize the back rotors were just slightly too big and prevented the wheels from turning. Ended up having to buy duralast all the way around. Again, the product seems nice, but the labeling is confusing. They refunded me the full amount and I still have their rotors sitting here. Fit great and had good stopping power but the fronts have started warping a few months after install. I do not brake hard or do hard driving but lately when i brake there is vibration on the front. All front suspension components were replaced and checked to be in good working order.

I waited 14 months of daily spirited driving before I posted a review. I normally would spend around $300 for a full kit from POWERSTOP, but the breaks were shot when I bought the car, and was looking for a cheaper option at the time. For how cheap these are compared to products similar to this kit, they perform just as good in my opinion. Better than OEM! They don't come with top of the line pads, and I haven't looked at the wear in a while, but 14 months later and they bite as hard as the day they were installed. They rotors are said to be coated, and I believe that. The thing I discovered is that you MUST NOT SPRAY BRAKE PART CLEANER ON THEM. I ruined a more expensive kit, by doing that and they rust everywhere now. Get some brake grease to put on the pad backplates to greatly decrease sound. I left this kit as is and just wiped them down with a dry cloth upon installation, and performed a standard break-in. Other than surface rust where the pads make contact, and being it's parked out in the rain, there is no rust anywhere else. After the rain, just take it down the road and the rust is gone. The first photo is after 7 months, and the second photo is after 14 months. As you can see in the first photo, there are slight ridges on the rotors, but are not deep, and pretty smooth. None of the rotors are warped and as shown in photo 2, there is zero rust other than where the pads make contact with the rotor, and where the wheels are mounted ( the get removed pretty often). I will definitely buy these again for the rotors, and maybe another brand for pads, not that they don't do the job, I just want some better ones. ... show more

Bought and installed these for my wife's Mazda3. Easy to put on, and look great. I've had them for about 11 months, and the performance is fine, bite is good. HOWEVER, after about 6-7 months of daily driving, they started squeaking extremely loud upon first use. Like deafeningly loud. Like louder than when I originally decided it was time to get new brakes loud, and I put on brake quiet when installing the pads! Typically it's only when the brakes are cold, so they stop squeaking when you get to the first stop of a trip. But man, we feel really bad for our neighbors in the morning. Again, they perform fine, no fade or anything, but my other car has similar brakes that are even older and don't make any noise compared to these. I don't know if it's the cheap pads or maybe low quality metal for the rotors. Either way, I'm now looking at getting a dealership to install stock rotors and pads to STOP the noise. ... show more

Installation went fine. Materials are well made and the rotors look sharp as well. Stopping power is as good as, if not better than stock OEM rotors and pads. Much cheaper to buy on Amazon then at the mechanic's shop.
