I ordered this blower for my father in law in Colorado. The engine was seized and never operated. I contacted the company thru Amazon and they did not reply. I contacted them thru their website and no reply. I called their tech support and was on hold for a full hour without reaching anyone. I called the next day and was on hold for 40 minutes, no response. The product is crap, the service is non existent. Don't buy from them unless you're willing to spend money on an expensive paperweight. This has been my worst experience with a vendor from Amazon EVER. ... show more

Really quick assembly no problems at all and it help having an electric start. Have not used it yet but we have some snow storms coming I'll update

    • Good but...
The assembly was easy. Very well made and the price is right. The big issue is there are no wheels or mechanism towards the front of the unit so it makes it very cumbersome to push. I need to tilt it back to push it forward

    • Plenty of Power
I purchased this snowblower due to the extreme winter we had in Utah. The machine was easy to set up and was easy to start. The first time I used it I couldn't even push it without tilting it back which left an inch of snow on the driveway and walks. I would then have to shovel the inch of snow. I've had other snowblowers which were easy to push. I attempted to contact the service department by phone but could never get through after 6 tries. I took it to one PowerSmart's approved service repair shops and was told by the mechanic that the problem was that the rubber blades were too high off the ground and the machine was not adjustable. He recommended I return it. Luckily I purchased it through Amazon which gave me a path to contacting PowerSmart. PowerSmart customer service ended up being very helpful. They sent me a set of new rubber blades which were easy to switch out. Everything is great now and I'm very happy with the snowblower. I also appreciate the quick fix once I made contact with customer service. I would have originally given the machine a 5 Star if I hadn't of had to go through the trouble of it not coming with the correct size rubber blades.     • It’s just meh
This item does what it’s supposed to… HOWEVER, there is no forward movement assist, the auger is supposed to aid with this. It does not assist for anything other than a flat surface. You need to angle the machine UP in order to move it with ANY kind of ease. Pushing this thing to clear the driveway is a killer on the arms and legs. Not to mention there is no plate attached to the bottom of the machine to keep the auger off of the asphalt and help “glide” the machine. For the price it is NOT worth it. I can get a better model for the same price that would suffice. It gets the job done, just a hell of a pain to use. Also NO RETURNS TO THE SELLER. So buy at your own risk. ... show more
