Description

my husband bought this set for me to get a rusted rounded off flange bolt off the exhast of my 2011 ford fiesta car. We needed to replace the catalytic converter. Well I ended up not getting these in time and i just cut the exhaust out. But I did get to use these where I never thought these would be useful. I needed to remove a " screw" from under my kitchen counter to remove my built in dishwasher. I say " screw" because it is a flange Phillips head screw so the Phillips parts had stripped and I thought it has a round edge and yes this tool removed the screw in no time. For all the elitist techs that will push snap-on and matco and who call other brands trash, gearwrench is gonna make them seriously start second guessing themselves. Don't get me wrong, actual snap on or matco stuff is the absolute pinnacle of tools, but GW is Literally right behind. For what will get you a single ratchet on the trucks, will get you a full ratchet kit with arguably too many extensions. For what wrenchs you get on the trucks, you can absolutely annihilate with gearwrench. The value of GW is insane considering what you get, especially if your a new tech looking for an extremely good first set. And it's all warranty through matco. Life time warranty, which is absolutely insane. Especially for the money. Matco is a licensed Gearwrench dealer, so anything you have can be warranted through the tool trucks. I will eventually end up upgrading to "higher quality" tools, but not any time soon. Gearwrench has my money for now ... show more
