    • KOE2073 on 2001 Suburban 2500 with 8.1L - amazing improvement
Style: Stock Replacement
The 2001 Suburban 2500 8.1L had warped rotors, so I got the Power Stop KOE2073 kit for it. Apparently they have a different kit for the Suburban, but these fit perfect. That's the full kit (front and rear rotors and pads). This is the standard OEM replacement kit, and not the daily driver (Z23) or tow kit (Z36). Threw these on, and took the Suburban out and did the break in procedure as outlined in the box. These brakes are amazingly better than stock. This is a big SUV, and it stops HARD now. I don't tow with it, so I didn't see a need to pay more for that option. I would have to tow something really big to overpower these brakes. They're impressive. I do have a 2002 Silverado 2500HD with 8.1L and just ordered the KOE2073-Z36 (towing) kit for it. I'm excited to see how those do too. ... show more

All parts came and fit my application. All OEM style and all work as described. I would have had to order these even at local auto parts store for more money. Glad i got them here and delivered to the house. These went from doorstep to installed truck in minutes. If you plan to open up brake hydraulic system, get or make a "Brake Bleeder Bottle" and you can bleed the brakes by yourself with ease. ... show more

    • 100 Miles In - So Far, So Good. WATCH THE CLIPS!

Installed this kit on my 2002 Silverado 2500HD and everything fit perfectly, except for the brake pad clips that were unfortunately damaged severely in shipping. The parts were packed loosely in a big box, so the thin clips stood no chance against the heavy rotors. Luckily, I was able to re-use a few of the old clips where the new ones were unusable. After performing the break-in procedure, I'm 100 miles in and everything seems to be working very well. The brakes are noticeably better than they used to be and I haven't had ANY brake noise or dust yet. I will certainly update this review if I have any issues with the brakes, but overall, I don't believe I'll have too many issues since they were machined very well and of high quality. ... show more

Made my 06 silverado 2500hd stop like new! Do the proper break in as they tell you. Only issue is i wish they labled the brake pad metal slide shims. I acidently put the rears up front and they are a hair narrower and scrap the rotor. Other than that im happy.ive also put Power stop brakes on the wifes equinox and it stops better than new.
