  • A Team Divided
Volume 3: Team Divided consist of four episodes from the first season of Power Rangers Samurai, where four teens, Jayden, Kevin, Emily, Mia and Mike, have inherited the Symbol Powers (Fire, Water, Sky, Forest, & Earth) from their parents. Guided by Mentor Ji, the rangers battle Master Xandred's Nighlok monsters. The 4 episodes are: "I've Got a Spell on Blue" "Forest for the Trees" "Test of the Leader" "Jayden's Challenge" Special Features are: Cast Interviews "Power Rangers Dubstep" Video Character Gallery Widescreen Presentation English 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio Spanish and French 2.0 Dolby Digital Audio A Team Divided has the rangers almost splitting apart when the Green Ranger (Mike) and the Tiger Zord fall into the control of Nighlok Madimot. Things get worse for Mike as he is passed over to control the Beetle Disc. Decker returns to human form and plans on challenging the Red Ranger (Jayden) to a duel, leading Jayden to question his future as a ranger. I've never seen an episode of Power Rangers Samurai before, but there is a twenty-second introduction that catches you up to what is going on at the beginning of each episode. The special effects are a major improvement from the older seasons, but the acting is average at best. It was nice to see Bulk retuning for some comedy relief by attempting to train Skull's son, Spike, to become a Samurai. Each episode has the rangers being challenged by either Decker or a Nighlok monster and they use their weapons and zords to defeat them. The episodes are silly and fun at the same time. I'm sure kids and adults will both enjoy watching each action-packed episode. Note - I received this DVD free of charge in exchange for my honest review. ... show more
