After having surgery, I was confined to sleeping while sitting upright. I couldn't do that in my bed, so I had to purchase a recliner. For what it's worth, it's relatively sufficient as a foster bed. It had a minor glitch that was immediately resolved by the seller. Trust that the company will be on your side from day one if you have any issues. I live in an assisted living facility with an excellent reputation for hiring only the best workers. When my recliner arrived, the head of the maintenance department put it together. Even using a level, he could not get the chair to be completely even on both sides. I contacted Amazon when the problem became noticably worse (a few months later and after several attempts by maintenance to correct the situation). Amazon made a privacy protected connection between Bingtoo and me. I described the problem, sent requested photos, and even mentioned how badly the material was pillng by now. The company made suggestions that weren't helpful, asked for additional photos, and completely ignored the pilling material complaint. This continued back and forth until a month and a half before the manufacturer's warranty would run out. At that time they stopped responding to me completely. Luckily I had purchased the extended warranty, which was through Allstate. Once the year was up, I contacted Allstate. They sent a professional furniture repairman to inspect and photograph the chair. The next day I received a notice from Allstate that they would be contacting the company for a replacement if available. Two days later Allstate notified me that they would be sending me a check to cover the cost of the chair, which I did receive. No matter how many recommend this chair for all its features, be warned that if you happen to get one with problems as I did, Bingtoo will give you the run around and many apologies, but they will not stand behind their product in a way that will make any difference. ... show more

For the price, I wasn't sure how sturdy this chair would be for my mother, but so far so good. It is very comfortable, and she loves the heat/massage. She says we won't get her out of the chair. I am curious about the durability, but time will tell.

To begin, the product arrived on time, in two well packaged, undamaged boxes. Assembly was quite easy and took maybe thirty minutes. I did it alone but another pair of hands makes the job easier. One of my electrical plugs was damaged and had to have been done by the manufacturer. It would have been a return for most people but I was able to make the necessary repairs.
