This chair shipped and got to my mother's place in 2 days via Fed Ex. Both boxes (comes in 2 boxes) came together, and the chair was simple to set-up, even without the instructions. The chair is very comfortable, and my mom is 5"0, medium build, so this was actually on the larger side for her, so I added a memory foam pillow under the plaid blanket to put against her back as well as a headrest type pillow on top. The functions for the massage and heat all worked perfectly out of the box, and this lifts and reclines to nearly flat and nearly standing. This seems very sturdy and well-built. Easy to assemble. Holding up well with daily use. The cushions(seat) tend to become out of shape. Well worth the economical price. Looks great and love the USB port. Very handy for charging the phone. Light enough to easily relocate. I sleep in this recliner couple times a week. Very comfortable.

My elderly mom was nearing end-of-life (cancer) and was having trouble getting up from her living room couch. We wanted to get her a lift chair, but (sadly) knew she wasn't going to use it for long and didn't want to spend $1000 on one. The reviews on this were good, and she loved the blue color, so we ordered it. It arrived far quicker than expected, assembly was well-documented and easy. We had it put together in about 20 minutes. She loved the vibration and heat on her back, the lift worked perfectly and helped her get in and out without trouble. She said many times it was the most comfortable chair she ever owned. She weighed <100 lbs but I sat in it as well (I weigh over 250) and I found it comfortable and functional. She passed away not many weeks after getting it so I don't know about the longevity, but I'm glad it helped make her last few weeks more comfortable. If you're looking for a not-too-expensive, comfortable lift chair, certainly consider this one. ... show more

This chair was purchased as a gift and the person absolutely loves it. She said it's very comfortable and the heat and massage functions are wonderful! It's not super wide and takes up minimal space. The fabric looks easy to wipe off and clean. It's also very durable for the price.

    • DO NOT BUY- Seller will not back new defective chair

The lift on this chair did not work when we purchased it for my 85 year old mother. The seller then offered to send a remote for the chair, saying they were sure it would fix the issue, which sounded great. We accepted the offer, but this didn’t fix the issue either. THEN they offered to send a new MOTOR for ME to install. At that point I refused and requested my money back. I requested they come get their chair and refund my money to my credit card. They refused saying I had to box it up and return it. This was impossible for myself and my 85 year old mother who was just released from a nursing home to do. All along, and after 8 calls to Amazon begging for help, I was refused a refund from both the seller and Amazon. After finally threatening to call the president of Amazon, I was finally given an Amazon credit. Not to my credit card as requested, but I will be able to use the credit. I accepted that since it was better than nothing. I am still in shock and have learned a valuable lesson. Do not buy furniture from Amazon unless you have a way of returning it yourself. I had every bit of 25 or more hours spent trying to return this brand new, never used, defective from day ONE chair. I assumed that Amazon vetted their sellers and would back any issues, being a company as large as they are, but buyers beware, this is NOT the case. I had 3 separate Amazon employees tell me that the A to Z policy would cover this purchase, but in the end, it did not. This is the only issue that I have ever had with an Amazon purchase and we have orders delivered daily to our house. Again, do NOT buy from this company. They will NOT cover their defective product! However, my mom was going to need a lift chair after surgery, and we needed it asap and last minute. Well, we couldn’t be more pleased! It is a very comfortable chair.
