This totally worked to replace failed switch on our tree from Wayfair. A couple of notes: this replaced a switch that was labeled "Jetmax" and "National Tree Company" with a US Patent #8,941,312 (8941312), just want to put that in there for searches because when I Googled that I got nothing. This was plug and play, only thing not noted in this listing (and the QR code for instructions didn't scan right no matter how many ways I tried) is this is the switch (no power supply included in this order, which is clear from the listing) but also three different pigtails (which don't appear in the listing). With the Jetmax I used pigtail "B" to make the right connections between male/female style plugs. So setup with the red Jetmax switch above it went: power supply (original) -> this switch -> pig tale "B" -> lights on the tree. Did that and all worked as exactly as advertised so five stars from us, did not have to throw out a whole tree (or restring lights). ... show more

The original GE switch only worked for 2 years. This is the only replacement switch I could find and it works perfectly. It also allows us to switch between white and colored lights.

I wasn't sure why my christmas tree lights failed to work. I contacted the seller (through ebay) to verify that it would fit my lights. It arrived quickly. I replaced my old one with this one, and voila - my christmas tree lights worked again.
