Needed this to use with my leaf vacuum, blower, mulcher. Definitely get a extension cord reel stand. It makes it neat and unwind smoothly. It works great, is sturdy and even has a little light. Very good price. I am cheap but want quality. This was perfect.

I liked this cord the second I opened the package and felt how well is was made. It's the right size for why I bought it and has a led light in the one end so you know the cord has power. Very easy to see in low light areas. I bought it to use in an unheated shed.

This cord works great until it gets to around -10F then it has problems with stiffness and will not coil up without some effort. At -25F it becomes almost impossible to coil up as it is very stiff. Below -25F and it is no longer very flexible. I realize that most people don't need to be concerned with such low temps, but for those that do I would not buy this cord if you desire the flexibility. I give it two stars for high visibility and the fact that it has a lighted plug to indicate power. Feb 2019 Updated to three stars as it is very durable; coils easily when temps are above +10F; overall a very nice cord for most users at temps above +10F. When colder than +10F that I found that taking it into a warm place for 5 minutes restores the flexibility quickly. Dec 2022 Updated to four stars; overall the best cold weather extension cord for the price. Extremely durable. Have used in temps as cold as -55F and yes they do get extremely stiff at those temps, but flexibility restores fairly quickly when taking into a warm place for 5 minutes. Have used Flexzilla cords for years and have not had any problems with them breaking or wearing out yet; even when used in sub-zero temps. ... show more

This is IMO one of the Best All weather Extension cords. I use mine @ work to plug in the car block heater when it's -10 to -30 here in Mn. It stay flexible after I leave it out for 8-16 hours of use. Then I roll it back up and put it in the car and drive off. It is NEVER Frozen stiff like the other "Heavy Duty" Extension cords that aren't a flexible sheathing like this one. ... show more

When I bought this I read that it glows in the dark, and I thought I would never have a use for that feature, but I carried a light through my attic with it plugged in to the cord shining my way. then I had to go get some more tools but didn't want to carry the light because I needed my hands to carry tools. I decided to just brave the dark but as I moved away from the light I could see the whole cord laid out glowing green like a path and it made my travels much easier. Not that I would recommend walking through a dark attic, I still had to feel for the studs but it at least gave me direction. I have had this for thee years and have had no problems.
