  • HEAVY DUTY - EXCELLENT QUALITY - TOUGH AS NAILS
Size: 50 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
This is the BEST extension cord I've ever owned. The quality is amazing. It's heavy and tough. I'm using to power a 14000 BTU portable air conditioner. It was worth the money for sure.

  • Heavy Duty and worth the money!
Size: 50 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
Cheaper than Lowes and just as good if not better. I don't usually write reviews but give credit where credit is due. I liked it so much that I ordered extras a second time.

  • Heavy duty extension cord
Size: 50 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
Ordered 3 cords in total to connect to my new mobile emergency generator. The 12 gauge wire ensures no over heating from electricity moving from generator to appliance or other uses.

  • A good value for a 10g cord
Size: 100 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
If your looking for a regular heavy 10g cord this one will hold up. The reason it only got 4 stars is like most extension cords it tends to twist the more times you wind it up. Yes there is a proper way to loop up a an extension cord but this suckers a bit heavy to hold out at arms length at the end of each day and also take the time to loop it. YouTube video on how to do so and your cord won't twist. This cords gets used outside daily. The base get's wrapped around a pole and plugged in and from there its drug across lawn, through landscape, sometimes down a 40' slope with boulders and large concrete steps, while not recommended for safety reasons it has had to traverse an area with the sprinkler running. So thumbs up on durability. If you want the type of card that doesn't start to take on a memory when frequently wound your going to have to shell a bit more but if ready this review you new that. For the average person this is going to be a good by. The winding and memory is not as bad an issue like a cheap 100' 10 gauge regular orange cord experiences so I think you will be happy. In no way is my cord abused but I ask a lot out of it for the summer, so much so if I had to buy one each season I'd be okay doing so because the cord make me money. I haven't had it long but I can tell by the lack of wear and what it has already experienced the cord is in it for the long haul. Last I can not speak to the durability of the ends because they are always protected. Once I have the cord where the work is going to be done a short leader cord is connected and the connection doesn't get moved and it;'s always high and dry. So to be far the short leader cord gets all the abuse. 15'ft cords are a lot cheaper to replace. Now that you see how I utilize the cord and my expectations, you can determine if its a good cord for you based upon your intended use. It's not cold weather rated so no need to discuss that. Each option costs a bit more. I fit the cord to the use and consider it to be a good buy at this time. Should this cord not continue to hold up I will come back and re-review this post. ... show more

  • Great 12g cord for a great price
Size: 50 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
I scored 2-50' versions of these on sale for $20 each and my only regret is that I didn't buy 10 of them. As far as extension cords go, I'm a normal dude who will use it for normal stuff around the house; mostly power tools with high draw like saws, grinders, planers, drills, etc. Build quality is solid from the wire itself to the strain relief at the male/female plug ends, and the plugs themselves. No complaints there. For $20 I don't think I could have found a better quality extension cord. I'm indifferent about the lighted head but I can see its use in certain scenarios, for my use I don't see it having a ton of utility. In my opinion, the only other extension cord I have that is better than this one is a purpose-built 10g 100' one that my electrician friend made me that has 4 female outlets (2 standard, 2 gfci). I only paid for the plug ends and he used leftover 10g from a job he worked. The only possible complaint at the moment I could think of is that these are fairly heavy duty cords and if you're an elderly or smaller person, it may be a bit heavy/unwieldly for you to wrangle. Also I know folks who don't like the lighted plug ends but that's more of a personal preference. Lastly, you'll want to keep an eye on this cord if you take it on the road with you. It outclasses many of the other big box store cords and someone will (definitely) attempt to snatch it from you. This isn't one I would hang on my truck rack and leave unattended in a parking lot. ... show more

  • Should've got this cord 1st!
Size: 50 ft Pattern Name: Extension Cord
I should've done more research when I went to use just any Gauge cord for a 10000 BTU window AC. I went through a 16 gauge (melted to linoleum within less than a month, but luckily no AC damage), and a I believe a 14?, but that one took almost 4 years to take affect. If I would've read about 12 gauge 1st, I would not have been careless.. This cord works great and especially live the orange glow on the female end! ... show more
