The media could not be loaded. First when I placed the order I was being a bit skeptical - this looks to be a new product, and I have never used an auto litter box that has the waste bin on top. I’ve had Leo’s Loo first gen and Litter Robot 3 (wifi edition). They are bulky. They do the job but with both the waste bin and motherboards at the bottom, loose litter and other debris and gunk often find their way into the base. And since that’s where the electronic parts are, I could not clean and sanitize the base properly. This design resolves such issue and makes the machine more compact without compromising the internal space. (Make sure you secure and tighten the waste bag correctly.) It works perfectly for most house cats except some large breeds. The app lets you adjust the degree tilted for leveling the litter, the gaps between cleaning, and many other settings, which is very helpful since one of my cats has loose stool (he goes to the vet and has been improving). Also, with horrible stories of some auto litter boxes have killed cats, I started to pay more attention to the safety features. In the video my goblin cat literally walked in during cleaning (lol), the infrared sensor sensed him and the machine stopped right away. There’s no risk of cat getting pinched in this machine because it doesn’t have a gate or a bonnet (declaration: based on my understanding, having a gate or bonnet doesn’t necessarily mean a machine is dangerous, faulty sensors/glitchy programming are the direct cause to the tragedies). This thing is also very quiet. My scaredy elder kitty is still trying to adjust to it, but he is definitely not as scared by the noise comparing to the other two machines I’ve had. Ther is nothing to dislike. I am changing the bag once a week for two cats. Super easy and no mess to change out bag. Just like a miniature trash bag with pull strings. Enclosed structure so not open for all to see. almost silent. smell almost diminished thanks to ionizer. Best of all, no more cleaning litter box twice a day. Thanks so much.     • I'd rather use my hands as a litter box
This is not at all a good design nor does it function as it should. The bag has nothing securing it so if anything happens to miss or fall out the whole bag moves (you have no clue) and when you open the lid to empy everything just falls all over the place. Rotating and keeping the waste at the top is a poor design as well. This would be better kept at the bottom that way if anything missed a bag, it would remain in some sort of tray. Another problem is cleaning, this is seriously difficult to clean. you can't take to cylinder apart and there's no drain so everything just piles up in the cracks until you lay it down and you get to play the game of figuring out how to clean it while sticking your hole arm inside. It doesn't mask any smells, it's not any more sanitary, it's for sure much more of a hassle and I wish I would have returned it immediatly vs giving it a try. ... show more

This litterbox has made having cats the easiest thing in the world! We've had it for a month and it has serviced our 3 cats without issue. The cats have no problem with it, it keeps the litterbox smell to a minimum, and I love how it sends me notifications when the cats use it!

Works good. Online view is nice Would be nice to have more details in online view, like any issues for example. Also a more detailed information on what each button does would also be nice. Worst part about this is the bags. They do not tie on very nicely or easily. Also it would be nice to have a full spot on the top, instead of having to use the cat entrance. ... show more

I have 2 cats and always used the traditional litter box, I have been interested in automatic cat litter boxes for a long time and have always wanted to buy one, but I'm afraid it may not be used as advertised, the more important reason is that it is not cheap. One of my friends is using povee auto litter box and highly recommended it to me. Plus, I saw a promotion recently, so I placed an order. This thing works wonderfully. I'm tired of having to deal with a standard litter box daily with a horrible smell. I empty out the crap bag and refill the litter once a week and then I’m done. It’s such a time saver!! And also, it greatly reduces the odor, and saves litter. The only gripe I have is that it’s kind of annoying putting in a new bag. You have to really tighten the strings and make sure the entire opening of the bag is secured snuggly onto the entire opening of the hole, but once you get used to it, it’s not a huge deal. All in all, I’m very pleased with the unit and would definitely recommend it. ... show more
