We bought this to get our little one ready to potty train. Assembly was pretty straight forward and quick. Once it was set up my little one started to climb on it to play. He’s 1 and a half and his body fits nicely on the seat without falling through. He hasn’t actually used it to potty yet, but loves to climb up to sit on it. It’s plastic but it’s durable. I purchased this seat because the other one we had was more difficult for my son to use due to separate stairs and no handles. I was a little hesitant reading some of the bad reviews saying this was bad for boys and that it let pee leak out. After using it for 2 weeks now I can say it works perfectly and keeps the pee in the toilet! I had previously been using the Baby Bjorn seat insert but that one was leaking pee everywhere to where I had to clean up every time he went. I am so glad I switched. My son is more confident using the big potty on his own which is great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. If set up correctly it is very stable and safe. For the ones saying it isn't good for boys I wonder if they didn't set it up correctly. It works if you set it up on the base of the toilet, with the normal seat up. This training potty absolutely gets the job done! It was very easy to setup and is very easy to use. I have had this for about 3 months and my daughter who is two and easlity climb up and down and use the potty without any assistance. She loves it and I love the pink colors. Its also very easy to take apart and clean and comes with a nice butt seat that is soft and provides cushion. It is easy to take off and clean and put back on. I highly recommend this training potty. This training potty is a game-changer! Setting it up was a breeze, and it's incredibly user-friendly. After using it for 3 months, my two-year-old daughter can effortlessly use it independently.
