The arm part that screws in wore down so it wouldn't screw in after a week. I was so bummed because my cat loves this toy! The company that makes it has their contact information printed on the box and they were very responsive and sent me another one. So far the new one hasn't had the same issue but I have a feeling after awhile it might. While I was waiting for the replacement to arrive, I did manage to "fix" the first one--I used a strong, thicker viscosity glue and also sealed the outside of the shaft area with a clear gel topcoat which I cured with a UV light (I do my own nails so I have these things...lol). So anyway, even thought it has that "flaw," I still think this is the best toy ever made for a cat because they love things that move under a cover. In fact (and sorry to make this review so lengthy), my mom decided to get one for her cat and the same issue happened but the company also replaced it right away and so far, so good. Overall, I will say that I think any cat will love this toy. Meow! :) ... show more

My 3-year old rescue cat is obsessed with this toy. She can play with it for long periods at the time. If it is off, she’ll come get me, lead me back to the toy and wait for me to turn it back on. It’s not too noisy and the different speeds and modes are perfect. We mix it up and after five weeks, she still plays with it every single day and multiple times during the day. My only complaint is that the feather toy was destroyed pretty quickly. We don’t know where our cat came from, but she definitely knows how to pluck feathers from birds. I have added different feather toys that seem to hold up a little better. And that’s another great thing about the toy, you can easily add your cat’s favorite toy (as long as it has a loop). ... show more

My young cats are finicky when it comes to cat toys in general. They're the type to prefer cardboard boxes or ripping up paper towels. When I unleashed this baby for the first time they were in awe. Starstruck. Bewildered. Amused. They didn't hesitate to pounce, jump, flip, and commit what would be considered to us humans as heinous acts in general to the poor little feather stick wand and butterfly. They've actually taken it upon themselves to team up and try to corner the feather stick into submission. My girl kitty loves this! She plays with it all day. She is so cute when she plays that I feel the toy is more for me! It’s so funny to watch her try to figure out her next attack on the feather. Even with her playing with it all day, the toy stays charged for two or three days. My 2 boy kitties don’t care much about it though! I would definitely give this a try if you have a bored kitty. This works great and has advantages over other toys of this type. It's fairly quiet, so you don't have that motor noise that you get with others. Also, it's USB chargeable which means no more batteries. But best, is the fact that the cat likes it. The whirling butterfly is useless but other cats might take an interest. Might remove it. I put one of my own feather things on the spinning end and she goes after it because (I think) she's already familiar with chasing it. Anyway, I'm happy I bought it. ... show more

This is a nice cat toy, loads of fun and well worth the money if your cat is inclined to play. I thought this gem could not fail to amuse my cat...and it held her interest for an astounding 30 minutes...a real marathon for her. After that she completely ignored it. Not the fault of the toy. Our cat loves this 3-in-1 Hide and Seek toy and wouldn't stop playing with it for quite a while once it was ready to go. It did take a while to charge with the usb connection, but it has lasted a couple days now without needing a charge. It's so nice not to mess around with batteries. It seems to be much better quaiity than cheaper brands we have purchased in the past, where the skirts on them were very flimsy and the hems would come apart. The wand would then hang up on the skirt and become useless. The 3-in-1 Hide and Seek has what seems to be a much more substantial and durable skirt. Time will tell, but I'm fairly confident it will last longer that the others we've had. Also, in the package, Potoroma offered a free attachment set with the purchase, which I requested via email, along with questions about future replacement parts if ever needed.
