Even with all the pictures and dimensions listed, it can be quite difficult to imagine this beanbag chair at its actual size. This was purchased for a 3yo, but if I had seen it in a store, I probably would have gone one size larger (medium-to-large) to get longer use out of it. It does seem to be very sturdy though, as the bigger kids (and even a couple of adults) have plopped onto it without it tearing or popping. It is also well-filled, perhaps too much so. My daughter is 16m, pretty short, and 24lbs for reference; we bought the medium sized one. She's been glued to this thing since it was delivered yesterday morning. Drags it all over the house. It's a little big, but that just means she can use it longer.. You can take the outside cover off and wash it, big plus because she already has food on it. The outside cover seems to be a thicker canvas material, I don't see this thing tearing unless intentional with some force behind it. The inside has the foam balls in their own encasing and you have to have a paper clip to slip through the zipper part. Pretty much, it's too hard for the little ones to grab ahold of and open on their own. The smell was strong when removed from package, slowly went away over time, with no smell the next day. I like that it's able to be molded and won't lose its shape until moved again. We made a pocket for her closer to the bottom, it held it's shape, and she was able to sit in it comfortably while still being able to get on and off on her own. She does tend to just kinda plop down belly first if there's no "chair" for her to sit or she tries to make a spot for herself without any issues. Love this thing. Definitely will get more when she grows out of it. ... show more

At first these seem and are fluffy and filled but within two weeks of kids using them they are flat. Going to need to buy more filling for sure. I took a picture next to a child sized wooden chair to show comparison.

The filler beads either compressed or shrunk to the point that it is basically unusable. Haven't washed them or done anything other than having my toddler sit on it. It was great at first but disappointed that I have to find some added filler now to continue using it.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but I wanted something sturdy I could put between front and back seat, an adjustable bridge seat for my 60 lbs dog. She loves to sit between both seats with us looking out the front window. A perfect fit.
