This is a great lamp. It is exactly what I had been looking for and at a great price. The base color is more brown than beige, but that is ok with me. It is still beautiful. It was pretty easy for me to assemble the shade. I just laid it on a dish towel so the fabric would not get dirty, and then started each ring about a couple inches at at a time and was able to see that both sides were evenly stuck from the edges as I was going along. You can stick and unstick it as you go along to re-straighten it if you need to. It came out perfect! It is on my nightstand, and I just keep the seam side facing the wall…. The first lamp I received did not have the shade included, but I asked for a replacement from Amazon and got it in two days! All in all a beautiful lamp. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would definitely recommend it! ... show more

I purchased 2 of these lamps in August of 2021, and would expect them to last longer. One is fine, the lamp shade, as you can see from the picture has broken away from the frame. I tried pressing it back into place because there is some sort of adhesive, but it did not stay. I would think a lamp shade would last longer than 3 years.
