  • I love this machine!
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
Now that I have had the machine a bit longer, I just wanted to update my review and I STILL LOVE IT!!! The only minor thing that I would like to have on this machine is a beep to indicate when it goes from wash to rinse. Since I don't dry my clothes in a tumble dryer, I like to add a bit of fabric softener to the rinse. I have watched it through enough cycles that I can fairly accurately set a timer that comes within a couple of minutes of being accurate for the start of the rinse cycle. This just a minor thing and truly at this point the only thing I can think of to improve on it. True, I have only had it for 2 weeks but after hesitating for a while because it's a little bit of money there and if I had to send it back it would be pretty bulky. But I have moved into this condo that does not have an end unit washer and dryer from a home where I've had a washer and dryer for 30 years or more. The complex does have a six unit washer and dryer room but it's coin operated machines and just a hassle of having to go over there and see if anybody else is using the machines and then sit there and wait to set a timer so that I don't forget to get the clothes in and out of the washer and dryer because someone else might be waiting to use it. I am single if that makes a difference to anyone reading this. I do normally about two loads of laundry a week and neither one of them is particularly big. My laundry items do not tend to be particularly soiled either. But as a trial I did use some towels to wash and dry my car and then I used some cleaning cloths around the house and some pretty dirty surfaces like in the tracks of windows and things like that. I wanted to test the cleaning capacity. I'm this little machine using warm water I believe got those really dirty things cleaner than my big agitator washer ever did. Maybe it's just the honeymoon phase lol but it did get them clean with no problem. There is just something soothing to me about watching and listening to this little powerhouse. As far as getting it set up that was just a little bit of a challenge for me because I don't have good hand eye coordination and putting things together and setting them up no matter what the item is always puts me on edge a little bit because it can turn out to be very frustrating. Other than learning to get the angle right to screw the hose connection onto my sink faucet, I didn't have any issues getting this set up and once I got the fuel for that it's no problem either. As far as the drain hose I just flip it over into the sink and put a piece of masking tape to hold it and haven't had any problems with it coming loose or leaking. I haven't tried to use it in my bathroom because the sink faucet there doesn't have the appropriate type connector on the end and again I'm not handy for changing things like that. If I ever have someone come over or a plumber coming for some other reason who can change that end of the faucet for me I'm quite sure it would work fine in the bathroom too. But even though I have a very small kitchen, I just make sure I'm doing the laundry when I don't have anything else to do in the kitchen. I like this machine so well that I am going to research and see if they make a big model on the off chance that I ever live in a house again or a place where I would have room for a bigger one. No it doesn't heat dry the items but heat actually damages fabric and I've just always used it because that's what dryers in the United States have. But this spin dry does a very very good job and I have a clothes rack that I already had and I just hang towels and things over it and point a fan at it and I would say it takes less than 2 hours to dry a regular size heavy bath towel. Now it is summer time in the South where I live so the air conditioner is running and that probably contributes to the quick drying time. In the winter of course I would have the heat on and the added humidity of The damp clothes would just be a plus. And for the couple of months out of the Year where I don't need air conditioning or heat, I still think putting a fan on it would do just as well. I could put the clothes outside on my balcony and let them air and sun-dry but I choose not to do that. I did find that if I used the machine and let it rinse with no fabric softener that the clothing was rough, for lack of a better term, just like line dried clothes would be. So I just have figured out the timing on it and set my timer to let me know to step in there and add just a little bit of fabric softener and the clothes dry perfectly. As far as permanent press items and jeans, I just take them out and put them on the hangers that I would put them in the closet on but then hang the hangers on the shower curtain or something until the clothes are dry. They don't feel rough, they're not wrinkled. I am just fascinated that this little machine existed and I never knew it until I needed to go searching for an option that didn't require me to have someone to put in washer and dryer connections and then the washer and dryer would have taken up a good bit of space and my one bedroom condo. So now, I'm saving myself the stress of going to a laundry room, I'm being kinder and gentler to my fabrics by not drawing them with heat, and I am positive I am saving on utilities by not drying with heat and my own place. The only negative that I have to mention is that the user manual that comes with it is not thorough and giving an explanation for all the settings such as water recycle and such. And apparently several companies put their brand name on these so searching for the brand name of this one specifically didn't help a whole lot except that once I went through the videos I found other machines that had the exact same control panels on them and people did reviews of them that explained it all very well. As far as noise level, it makes less noise than the dishwasher does. That was another concern because I live upstairs and if I had a machine up here that made a lot of noise, it might bother the neighbors. But that's a non-issue. So long-term durability will just be the test of using it and seeing how long it is trouble free. I do make sure to not overload it but I also do tend to run it especially with the towels at the maximum capacity that it lists and it cleans them and rinse them and spins them out very well. As far as how much laundry detergent and fabric softener, that's just like with any machine that I've ever purchased new. I just always had to test it out through various loads and see what worked the best as far as I'm out. I do not like a lot of suds and my laundry and never have so I'm pretty skimpy with the laundry soap. I could go on and on, LOL but I'm out of time. I would just say to anyone who is wondering if it is good as all the hype says, that I am a real person who lives in the United States and is purchased from Amazon for years and I am getting no compensation for this review, lol. ... show more

  • Laundry Done on My Time in My Apartment
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
As an apartment renter, access to a laundry room or a laundromat is controlled by others, including how many people ahead of you all the machines in use. I decided to get a compact dryer to deal with the things I tend to wash by hand, and maybe do a better job of drying a damp towel or two on very humid days. While searching Amazon for dryers, the "Frequently bought together" recommendations showed compact washing machines, which I didn't even know was a thing. I'm so glad I decided to look around Amazon to see what's out there, and ended up choosing this one. This machine is a game changer! As an impeller-style machine, the space that would normally be taken up by an agitator goes towards adding more clothes to the load. I was able to wash two weeks worth of laundry in 3 loads. Would it have been easier to use 3 machines simultaneously? Sure, but that's not always available, and certainly not on my own time. The machine isn't silent, but it certainly is quieter than I could have expected, especially when compared to a regular washing machine or a dryer. The manufacturer's recommendations are correct, though: very little detergent is needed, and use a bag for undies as the friction-style of washing with an impeller can cause things to fray, and that leads to tangles. It does say that it can handle a blanket, but I'm not willing to push it that far. Thermal blankets maybe, but not anything like a comforter that could end up absorbing a ton of water and possibly damage the machine as it tries to spin it dry. The spin dry cycle is pretty good. A load with socks, undies, bathroom linens and pants ended with everything clean, smelling like the fabric softener I use, and the socks were almost completely dry...just from the strong spinning. The only obstacle I encountered was connecting the faucet to the adapter that came with the washing machine. The adapter is for a much wider faucet mouth than the bathroom sink I have, so I ended up buying an assortment of adapters to try, and found the right thing. I also decided to get a drain hose extender and a longer inlet hose so that I just store and use the machine in the hallway next to my bathroom rather than moving it into the bathroom whenever I want to use it. Oh, for anyone needing a 2-inlet hose setup because you have a separate faucets for cold and for hot water, this isn't for you. It's a single hose inlet, so water will be either one temp or another if you have separate faucets, or you'll need to find a connector, or pick one temp to work with. I'm utterly satisfied using one temp at a time with this machine. I haven't tried whites in it as yet, but so far cold water has been enough to make all my color fabrics come out great! ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!
Size: 17.8Lbs Color: White Grey
We received our washing machine and installed it into our RV. The machine leaked all over the floor from the bottom of the tub!!! All the pipes were good so there was something wrong from the bottom of machine. We contacted the company and they approved a refund upon return of the washing machine. We took it to Fed EX and were told that the company did not pay for return and for us to return it ourselves it would cost more than what we paid for the machine. We have tried contacting Amazon, the insurance Asurion (do not buy!), and the company and have no results from anyone!!!!! Not cool Amazon!!!! The appliance insurance we purchased through Amazon told us to contact the company for a return. Great, thanks!!! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE!!! Not worth the hassle! I want results Amazon!! Or how about the company Nictemaw Store? You should be ashamed. Please make this right for us. Either send us a new machine that does not leak free of charge, or pay for the return of your faulty product. ... show more
