I looked at portable washers for a year before purchasing and went into this with pretty realistic expectations. Arrived quickly, no dents or scratches. Pros: -price. I took a gamble on a machine that wasn’t from a recognizable US appliance brand but this machine had consistently better reviews and by far the largest capacity in its price range. I expect it to pay for itself in a few months -design. Its about counter height and small enough to tuck into a corner and or roll into a small closet should you not necessarily want everyone to know it lives in your apt -Noise level. I live in an old building second floor apt and this was a big factor when choosing a machine. Far quieter than I expected it to be. I also purchased a little dolly with locking wheels (an absolute must) and I think not having it directly on the floor helps. -convenience. Don’t expect it to perform exactly like a standard washing machine, but it’s pretty comparable to the smallest washer at the laundromat. Without the laundromat. -water consumption. We calculated that on second to highest load size it uses about as much water as a 5 min shower. Pretty sure the math was right. We’ll see what my bill looks like but on paper it doesn’t seem to use a ton of electricity -clothes actually do come out more dry than from a regular washer by a long shot Cons: - unless you plan to use it and store it in the same place you have to put it on a dolly - ease of use. Not terrible and the simple things are easy enough to figure out like load size and start but I’m still trying to figure out the programs. The instructions aren’t the worst but could be more clear on the details. -it’s mostly plastic with the exception of the drum. Totally reflected in the price but I’m not beating it up like a standard washer -it performs well but at the end of the day it is an appliance from an unfamiliar brand. We received our washing machine and installed it into our RV. The machine leaked all over the floor from the bottom of the tub!!! All the pipes were good so there was something wrong from the bottom of machine. We contacted the company and they approved a refund upon return of the washing machine. We took it to Fed EX and were told that the company did not pay for return and for us to return it ourselves it would cost more than what we paid for the machine. We have tried contacting Amazon, the insurance Asurion (do not buy!), and the company and have no results from anyone!!!!! Not cool Amazon!!!! The appliance insurance we purchased through Amazon told us to contact the company for a return. Great, thanks!!! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE!!! Not worth the hassle! I want results Amazon!! Or how about the company Nictemaw Store? You should be ashamed. Please make this right for us.     • Decent machine, but leaks

Had a double tub portable washer, so I wanted to upgrade to fully automatic portable. Beautiful design. Simple, I put mine on a furniture dolly to roll thru house. Pros- fully automatic with alarm. Let’s you know when it’s done. No more forgetting to turn off the water for washing and rinsing. Fills and drains automatically. Does a good job overall. Clothes come out clean and reasonably well spun out. Cons- It leaks from the bottom and the water intake valve. I’m not sure if it’s because of water level and clothes ratio causes splash or it’s defective. Be mindful to not overload or under load. Oversuds on maiden voyage. I use tide pod 10x hygiene because I have to wash cold, and caused overflow of suds. Never happened with old washer but again, learning curve, put pod/detergent first, clothes, packed gently, decent amount, it won’t spin well if load isn’t heavy enough. Ideal with separate sink tub like in garage, but for apartment or “faucet poor” we need an attachment(s) that hooks up to the shower head or kitchen faucet. Either or all Options are nice. Would like optional fabric softener alarm for rinse cycle or compartment. Set an egg timer I guess. Stronger drain pump. Mostly gravity fed and if the hose falls out, it leaks all over the floor. Place your machine on top of a crate or two inside the bathtub. Pull your drain plug and stick hose on drain otherwise you will have to scrub your tub before you shower. Reviews help people make good buying choices. So far this was a good purchase. It’s the learning curve that will eventually determine overall value. If I can find out if it’s me causing it to leak or if it is a bad piece which happens. Overall good value. ... show more
