You know, I was a little bit skeptical, but this thing actually works. And if it continues to work this well it will save you a lot of money. If I had to do it again, I would have gotten the largest size, because the medium holds about 1/2-2/3 of a normal load. You might have to dry a couple of items at a time and it doesn't get them totally dry, but it spins really fast and your clothes come out just a tad damp and you can hang them in the bathroom for 20 minutes and they'll be dry. (the normal dryer cycle is an hour). The spinner doesn't hold much and it's not fully automatic, so there's some work on your part moving things around, BUT this costs a fraction of the price of a legit washer/dryer AND it gets your clothes cleaner! I am just hoping it doesn't break down the day after the warranty expires, like a lot of products on here, but I am already getting my monies worth. It's not quiet, but the sound is actually kind of soothing in a weird way. UPDATE: the hose you need to hook it up costs $30. ... show more

Sorry this is such a long read but this is intended to be a fully informative review. If you rent and do not have W/D hookups this is a life saver. However there are some things you will need to add/keep in mind to make it last and work as efficiently as possible given it's limitations. In spite of the additions I had to make it is still worth it to not have to go to Laundromat as the only chain in Hopkinsville KY is just gross. Next closest city is over 30 minutes away. This is most of the issues I have run into and the solutions I implemented to overcome them and result in a better experience. Per manufacturer instructions do not use hot water: (it claims to weaken glue and cause leaks) Lukewarm water is fine and I have had no leaks Per instructions do not run the wash cycle and spin cycle at the same time. Manufacturer states it will damage the unit. It's loud and the vibration is very noticable to downstairs neighbors. Risers that have rubber bottoms help. I also lined the top of the riser with a thick section of a yoga mat to help with the noise and vibration. It helps but there seems to be no way to eliminate the noise entirely. Please note that there is no insulation between the floor and ceiling in my building. Filling the spin side with water allows to clothes to properly distribute as the water drains and prevent an unbalanced load from occurring. There is no built-in mechanism in place to prevent an imbalance. Use risers to get it to a more effective height to drain properly. Your pump will not have to work as hard as it helps to create a siphoning effect. Built-in lint catcher is worth less- buy floating lint catchers instead. I have cats and I use 2 lint catchers that float in the top while washing. It has made a significant difference in reduction of clothing lint and pet hair. Using the floating lint catchers allows me to fill it above the recommended depth with extra water and get clothes a little cleaner. (Recommended depth is to not go past the built in lint catcher) Not for heavily soiled items I work construction my pants get too dirty to wash in machine. It can't handle that much dirt. Not for bulky heavy items. I can wash and spin my queen size sheets without issue. I can wash a queen blanket as long as I do not try to spin it. Between bulk and water it is more weight than the spin side can handle. My oversized towels can only be done in the spin cycle one at a time. This is the order of what is most effective to get my for clothes clean. Laundry sanitizer soak Drain Wash cycle with detergent Drain Spin cycle (fill spinner with water) Wash cycle with vinegar or Downey rinse and refresh Spin cycle (fill spinner with water) Hang to dry (clothes are dry within 24 hours at the most in my bathroom) Use laundry sanitizer with every load of laundry I do a 15 minutes wash cycle with laundry sanitizer and then allow the laundry to soak from an hour to overnight. I have no mildew or smell issues at all. Use the minimal amount of laundry detergent necessary (1-2 tablespoons) anything more will require extra rinse and spin cycles to get residue out. Do not use fabric softener (it will coat/clog your pump and house drains) use vinegar or Downy rinse and refresh instead to help break down detergent residue. Helpful Tips Fill from a flexible shower hose/nozzle or buckets if placed in the bathroom. (My shower hose only reaches the unit because the toilet and shower pipes are on opposite walls. Aka unit is on the same wall as the tub faucet. The drain pump for the wash side will drain both sides. The drain pump for the spin side only drains the spin side. This allows you to save time by filling for the next cycle on the wash side during a spin cycle. Be a good neighbor- don't run unit into late night. Know your city’s noise ordinance law. Be prepared to spend a lot more time but you will save a lot of money compared to a Laundromat Unlike a Laundromat you can do a prewash, soak, extra rinse etc. I like knowing my clothes are getting clean compared to a Laundromat where you are washing in other people's funk. ... show more

*update - 5 star customer service , offered me a full refund shortly after contacting them (and they did not ask me to change / delete my review), so very very impressed with that. Also found a workaround - bought a submersible pond pump & just drop it in the washer, drains it real quick. I still have to turn the entire washer upside down to get the water out of all the tubes below the wash tub, but it’s not a big deal. All in all still pretty happy , washer cleans clothes suprisingly well. Gotta say this thing was awesome at first, surpassed my expectations. Worked flawlessly, cleaned/dried really well. But suddenly after like the 10th wash it stopped draining. The drain pump runs but no water leaves the unit. Note that the little lint baggie in the wash chamber is basically empty at this point. Ok whatever Im pretty handy so went to youtube & found someone with the same issue (different brand but same basic design), who simply bought a plastic drain snake (like a barbed ziptie) and shoved it down the drain & pulled out a load of lint, and voila their machine drained again. So I thought this is probably whats going on here, seeing as the drain motor still runs. First thing I noticed was that while the youtubers unit had the drain in plain sight, mine did not. You have to unscrew the agitator & the drain is underneath (with a plastic cover over it). Nbd I was able to find it so its a simple matter of snaking right? Bought some snakes like the youtuber had, turned the dial on the washer to "drain" (its unplugged of course) which lifts up a valve that lets the water escape. The thing is that there are too many twists and turns for the snake to reach where it has to. Alright whatever, ill just remove the backplate (where you wrap the power cord around), remove the flexible hoses and access the drain valve/other components from that side, right? Well, what do I find once I get there - every single connection is GLUED together. Instead of using hose clamps like normal water connections, these are completely unremovable/unserviceable. Lint build up is such a common issue with washing machines of all sizes that youd think there would be a quick & convenient way to deal with it, but noooo besides being a pain to access , once you get to everything you find there is nothing you can do! It really sucks to have to turn the unit upside down to drain the water, and not all of it gets out so it starts to smell a little funky after it sits a little. Its a terrible shame because the thing still works! Its just got a little lint plug somewhere! This is a terrible design flaw, and it seems like an inevitability that it will happen. I want to recommend this unit but I cant. Hopefully the company will support this unit, stand by their product and help me out because this thing shouldnt fail after 3 months of ownership. ... show more

Great for light loads, the spinner works great at getting water out. Great for single people in small apartments with little room. Saves on trips to the laundromat so it saves me money.
