(updated review, December, 2021) After 3 months of use, the steam generator stopped producing steam even though all controls appear to function normally. I am working with manufacturer to try and get a replacement, but out come uncertain. New rating = 1 star. As noted below, I have had two of these portable saunas and in each case the steam generator quit working not long after purchase. So, I have purchased a steam generator typically used for bending wood (about $55, on amazon) and it's working great. Only drawback is you must control the generator manually. (the following was the initial review).Have used the unit twice. I purchased a similar sauna from a different manufacturer about 15 months ago, (generally, a decent experience) and the steam generator recently failed so decided to try this brand, which is equivalent in price to the first sauna. There were a couple features this unit has that most do not, with the most notable being the metal framework which I find a real positive. Plastic frame members are prone to bending/warping due to heat, and the metal frame work allows the absence of a cross member at the front, thereby providing easier entry/exit. The metal frame work appears to be chromium-plated steel, but regardless, I'll be watching closely for signs of corrosion over time. This may be a drawback, but only time will tell. There's a definite design flaw in the metal frame work design. It uses plastic connector joints, and the fit of these joints was poorly designed. There's far too much "slop" such that the metal tubes easily slip out of the connectors, making assembly quite difficult and very frustrating. (Be very skeptical of other reviews that claim the unit assembles easily. The very sloppy joints make this process very frustrating). If you are planning to assemble/disassemble the unit frequently, this is a real consideration. The joining connectors need to be much closer tolerance for the metal tubes, and preferably snap-fit to provide better restraint. In my situation, disassembly will be rare, so I used a metallic, high temperature tape similar to what is used in the usual high-temperature applications to secure each connection. Quite time consuming, but it makes the unit much more secure and prevents the sloppy joints from disconnecting when moving the unit, e.g. On the plus side, the steam generator appears to be good quality, easy to operate. The general construction of this sauna is definitely improved over most the first generation portable saunas from 2 years ago. For example, there's an absorbent mat provided and the steam is dispensed within the sauna such that there are no "hot spots" to cause discomfort. The instructions for assembly are very minimal, and difficult to understand. Much improvement needed there. I noted the maximum temperature inside (using a quality sensor) was about 125 degrees, F. This is about the same as my prior unit, and adequate for people such as myself who have a poor tolerance for high temperature saunas. General assessment of this unit is positive, and I consider it a good value as compared to similar portable saunas. ... show more

    • Our second sauna
After a disappointment with our first sauna, we chose this for a replacement. We're fairly happy with this one. Pros: Quality seems pretty good, the tent fabric is strong, not thin, the frame is, stainless steel tubing, not plastic, the hood is a nice feature which helps keep heat around your body. I'm 5'10" and have plenty of leg room. The boiler tank is large, lasts maybe an hour and a half. We seem to get a pretty good full body sweat going after 10-15 minutes. Cons: This sauna is advertised to get to 149 degrees. We have never got it above 120 degrees. But even with that we were able to sweat. We will keep this sauna and enjoy it as needed. So far we have used it around 15 times and it works well using distilled water. ... show more

I'm so happy with this sauna, the quality amazed me for the price, honestly I was specting something decent but not as good as this. The temperature gets so high and doesn't take long, I love it. Definitely, I would recommend it.

Good product. Worth the money. Easy to assemble and easy to use. The size it’s perfect I was worried at first that it will be too small for my husband (5’10 and 180 pounds) but it came out to be a perfect size.

My first review i said frame was weak but the peices that make the frame just needed to be pushed firmly in place . Frame is sturdy and everything works fine. It will make alot of condensation inside the tent so feels like a shower when u get out and will need to wipe down and empty the container that goes inside tent it will get good amount of water left in it. ... show more
