This one is oval shaped and lower to the ground which makes it easier to get in and out of as well as find a comfortable position once inside. I really do like this ice bath it was very easy to put together took me in my daughter only 5 minutes probably to put together I like that it comes with a cover that's easy to put on and a bag for when we want to put it away. However it is not as large as advertised at least from the pictures of the men that were sitting in it I'm 5'4 and my knees still have to be bent when I'm sitting in it but it's definitely deep enough I have to you know essentially bend my knees and I can then submerge my shoulders in it so definitely not as large as I thought it was but definitely large enough for me since I mainly do ice baths for my legs so the lower part of my body is nicely submerged. ... show more

My husband and I being a couple of serious marathon runners requires hard training, but most important a good recovery. Not only our legs muscles, but our whole body feels the soreness of long 20 to 24 miles training runs in preparation for a marathon. It's the shape of this thing that makes it so great, because the round ones do not allow you to naturally sit. Also The oblong shape is perfect for bathing the dog. We ordered this to use it to give our dogs baths outside. They splash around and make a mess in the bathroom when we use the bathroom tub, so we figured it would be easier and safer to give them their baths outside with this tub.
