  • Buy the right kit !! But looks great
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. Bath works was great. 1 kit did this huge shower (barley). But bath works sells 2 kits. This one did not have the roller/brush/paint tray/ stick or tack cloth. Get the kit they has all of this. You NEED to use their roller. A regular sponge roller will fall apart. I used 4 for this project. Still turned out nice since I know how to use product. Overall not hard to do. Start at farthest point and work towards yourself. Smell is a little bad towards the end. But tolerable. Note it’s not white white. But white enough. And rolls right on. (With the correct roller ) ... show more

  • Amazing and covered ugly blue bathtub / shower
Color: White
This stuff works really well. We used it in our rental to cover an old blue 80s bathtub, instead of replacing it. It took 4 kits to cover it because it was a full enclosure with even a ceiling. But it worked. It smells really bad, like seriously nasty chemicals. You will need adequate ventilation and an N95 mask. This stuff is no joke. You also have a window of 3-4 hours before it hardens. If one person gets light headed from the crazy smell, it’s nice to have a second person to tag in. It covers really well, and it does not chip off over time with shower usage. We are going on one year, and it still looks great. I would recommend having lots of rollers available. The foam ones work best. This stuff is mega thick, and the rollers go bad quickly. You will also need sponge brushes for detail and tons of those because the thickness of the stuff will cause those to break a lot. ... show more

  • Quite complicated to apply, good results
Color: White
I followed all the instructions very carefully but being my jacuzzi little tiles floor and living in a tropical country, I let it dry for 7 days. The result is very good, a little slippering even that I applied the included product for creating a rougher surface. Be serious with the ventilation, the smell is very strong particularly the primer. ... show more

  • I have a new bath tub 😀
Color: White
On the house we just bought the bath tub had flaking paint on the bath tub, I acquired this kit to refinish it, first step was to completely sand off the previous paint given it was already falling off. I used a sander to remove it faster. Then I proceeded to apply the new paint, applying it is straight forward. One thing to consider, the instructions tell you to apply the anti-skid at the bottom of the tub as step 1, if you do this don't use the same roller as the sand will get all over the other surfaces. Overall, very satisfied with the outcome, we've been using the tub as a shower only for 45 days now and the paint looks great, hopefully it will last for a couple of years. Don't forget to buy a good mask and have ventilation, the odor is heavy. ... show more

  • Total garbage.
Color: White
We had previously done Rust-Oleum, and it failed within a month. So I wanted to pick something that had a primer and etching as we have an enamel cast iron tub with a tile surround and out of all diy products this seemed to have the best reviews. Anyway needless to say this pic is from our first shower. Seemed to adhere well to the tile but just not the tub. Pretty disappointed given the fact that we meticulously stripped the RO finish off to apply this and it didn't even last a day. To add we followed the directions and got two kits and it was running pretty thin when we got up to the tile so advertised coverage is not correct. Anyway we feel completely ripped off. I would not recommend this product unless You're doing a cheap fiber glass or plastic enclosure. ... show more

  • Instructions were incorrect
Color: White
Instructions in the box say you have one hour to apply paint once it’s mixed. I didn’t know how anyone could paint that fast and do a good job. I called the company, and the rep said I must be reading the instructions wrong, because you have three hours to use the paint once it’s mixed. She went and pulled a box from the warehouse, read the instructions herself, and realized they were printed incorrectly. So don’t be alarmed if you receive a box that says you only have one hour to paint, because I doubt if they will recall all the boxes they’ve sold to distributors and re-insert the correct instructions. This paint is NOT FOR A NOVICE PAINTER. Imagine if you mixed Elmer’s glue and honey and tried to paint with it. It was a nightmare……and I’m an experienced painter. The paint also does not go as far as advertised, as I almost didn’t have enough to finish the job. According to instructions, I should have had enough to paint a tub AND shower walls, and there was only enough to paint the tub. The fumes are overwhelming and last for days. You definitely MUST wear gloves, because if if gets on your skin it will not wash off. I would never attempt this again in order to save money. Whatever you have to pay for a professional to do the job is worth every cent! ... show more

  • Old tub looks brand new!
Color: White
This tub refinish kit was easy to use and apply. Read the instructions and apply in a well ventilated room since this stuff stinks for two days. I used painters tape around all the edges then dabbed the product into all corners with a cheap foam brush, then used a foam roller for the textured area, waited 45 minutes, then used a new roller for the entire tub. It went on easily but you need good light to see where you may have missed full coverage sine it’s so shiny and uniform. Put the roller in a ziplock bag when done and don’t touch it for an hour, then come back and look for any drips, then use the roller to fix any spots easily. I messed up and leaned on the edge with a rag in my hand and thought I ruined it. I scraped off the area and used the same roller to fix the mess up in a second. Whew! It is so sticky and wet for a while you’ll want to close the door and stay out for 24 hours. Looks like a brand new glossy tub and the textured bottom is a great feature! Saved $300 doing this myself. ... show more

  • Some prep work required
Color: White
We loved the finished results. Our shower was ruby red. Had to sand the shower down for prep. Then wash with cleanser..rinse well. Tape off areas. The product rolled easy enough and covered beautifully. The shine is awesome. The smell was bad..had to run fans to vent out the window. You really need a respirator. You don't need to breathe that in. The effort was well worth it. The price was good. Good thing we bought two kits.. we used one and a half kits. This is a large shower. ... show more
