I really like this Ice maker. It makes ice so quickly we can't keep up with it and there are six of us using the ice. You can slightly hear the fan and definitely hear the ice drop so if love absolute silence you might be annoyed. This doesn't bother me and I suspect all these type Ice makers do the same. My only tiny complaint is since we can't use the ice fast enough it melts to sad little wet cubes. I didn't take any stars off because its not really the ice maker's fault. I was annoyed to arrive home from work to find the box had been sitting upside down for several hours. The unit has refrigerant and being upside down for so long could damage it. Also the box is clearly marked to keep right side up so this in my opinion shows a lack of care by the driver. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to use. Noise isn't terrible. If you're in the next room, you will hear the water intake, the refridgeration, and the fresh ice drop in the basket. (I'm in a one bedroom apt). It is a very quick machine. I like the small bullet cubes. Makes about 12-14 cubes per cycle (roughly 6 min per cycle). Basket holds about 4-5 cycles worth before auto stop kicks in. ... show more

Not really sure what’s meant by flavor but there isn’t a taste. The noise level is loud when the ice is forming and when the ice falls but it’s comparable to the refrigerator making ice. It’s very easy to use, plug, and fill with water, power on, select ice size, done! The reviews had me nerveous but this was in my budget. I have yet to have a problem. Make sure the sensors aren’t blocked (ice can block it, the tray can also block it if not put in properly) so you don’t get a full message when not full. ... show more

I love this little ice machine it doesn't make a lot of ice at one time but it makes a batch of about 12 little cubes every 7 minutes and it fills up faster than you know and they're the perfect size I have to have ice in my drinks in the colder the better and when I jump I'm irritable this made up the difference cuz my ice maker broke in my refrigerator that is the right size just me I had a bigger one but it broke but I love having Isaac and I had a regular ice dispenser in my refrigerator that I had but this meet those other machines that are huge it will be worth it if you don't have an ice maker you're always sharing your ice with your company and never run out and where I said I knew what to do is actually shut the machine off for a week ... show more

So, I didn't understand that this ice maker required the user to transfer the ice to one's freezer or the ice cubes - which are very small as you can see in the photo - would melt. There is an option for a smaller size, but considering how quickly they melt, I opted to make the larger size. Once i realized that icemaking would require my involvement, then I understood that I got what I paid for and it is acceptable for our use. The low price was was attracted me to it, since our RV has no counter space and our exterior compartments are also not very tall, so this will probably travel in the bottom of our shower while we are on the road or on top of the covered 2 burner stove. So worth the money. I mainly wanted it so I can stop filling the ice trays or forgetting to refill them. It’s loud and kinda scary when you forget you have an ice maker but it’s not something that’s going off ALL NIGHT just every so often. It’s the perfect addition for summer. I love this little ice maker! It makes ice very quickly. It probably isn’t enough for a large family but it would keep one or two people amply supplied. The only flaw I find in it is that the ice builds up on one side and since it doesn’t have a refrigerator unit to keep it the rest of it it melts but it doesn’t activate the maker Because there is ice build up on one small spot that keeps it from triggering. Otherwise it’s a gem! The cubes are round, small and hollow so they are great if you like to crunch on ice. I find that when the fill light comes on it does not automatically start again after I fill it. I have to turn it off and on and then it immediately starts working. For someone like me who finds it hard to walk more than a few steps this has been a lifesaver. Especially since it does not require a water hook up. ... show more
