    • Ice maker. Not ice keeper.
This is my first countertop ice maker so I'm mostly a bit amazed at how, as advertised, a small machine pumps out ice bullets without too much drama! It's great to have handfuls of ice seemingly ready all the time. But I was disappointed to see how this machine — and perhaps others like it — aren't freezers, exactly. The ice is meant to be used immediately or stored in a real freezer. It's not quite cold enough to just sit on the countertop waiting. The ice is very wet. Perfectly fine if you want some for a glass of water, but if you're storing ice in a basket or tub in your freezer, it will harden into a single frozen mass. Keep a metal spoon or ice pick handy! In terms of noise, I was actually a little shocked at how loud this one is. Louder than my full-size fridge/freezer, certainly (but not quite as loud as my washer/dryer, for what that's worth). While the sound of ice plunking into the container isn't unpleasant per se, I choose to switch this off when I sleep because of the noise coming from the other room. Most of these notes are probably common to any ice maker. If you have a large family who eats lots of ice continually, and if you sleep on another floor with better sound insulation, this will be absolutely fine. ... show more

This is a really great ice maker. It's quick, easy to use, and yes, it keeps the ice solid thru the day. I had expected to have to move the ice in to the freezer, but we haven't needed to. I'm happy we caved and made the purchase.

I like that this icemaker is very quiet. It makes ice in 2 sizes and it's pretty fast at it. The only downside is that the ice will stick together into one big chunk if you don't remove it promptly. It can be put into one of the included ice bags and thumped on the counter to break it up again but it's still kind of a pain if you forget it was running. I purchased this product In July 29, of 2022 and a few days shy of making one year the ice maker completely stopped working. I sent an email to ECOZY and was sent a replacement ice maker within one week. My replacement is working fine now and I thank ECOZY for responding to my email and replacing my icemaker.     • Counter top ice maker.
It makes quick ice but you need to remove and put it in the freezer, otherwise, it melts and you are back to square one. If it held the ice from melting, it would be great. I'm still testing it, not sure if we are going to keep it.

Love this ice maker. It has been a godsend to our ice maker issue. My husband loves it because he uses so much ice on a daily basis. It is noisy and the sound can be alarming at times. It sounds like we have a prowler in the kitchen. Perfect other than the noise.
