Great tool. Super portable. VERY handy when a 120VAC power source is absent. Pulled a 20x10 ft greenhouse onto a trailer in a desolate field. It does the job. Now you need to have or acquire a great, efficient, powerful drill. It did not burn out my 20VDC Bosch drill, but it got hot and that worries me. I'm thinking a 40VDC, battery powered model, with three spare batteries is worth the extra cost. The 120VAC model is great. Would have needed a generator... This little power winch pulled this very large tree up straight that was knocked over during the hurricane. I used some heavy duty straps and 6,000 lb nylon tow rope. I then set my 20v cordless drill in low speed, maximum torque and it pulled the tree straight up in about 5 min.

I like how easy it is to operate it's a little bit on the slow side but that's probably a good thing it will keep me from overdoing what I'm pulling you got it mostly to use pulling deer that I shot into the bed of my truck to make it easier on me

It does the job as described, but surprisingly, the instructions tell you not to use it for lifting. What are the 4 points for it? The website needs to be corrected, and it mentions lifting as well.
