This is a really nice basketball hoop for the price point. It is fairly easy to put together since the instructions are actually detailed. It took about 45 minutes to put together. I filled the base with water and set some extra hand weights on it until I can get some sand bag weights to put on top. It’s sturdy as it is. I have it set on the 8.3 ft setting since I have children between 8-13 playing on it. It seems the perfect height for them but it is adjustable to go higher or much shorter which is fantastic to have those options. The backboard while thick and nice looking is smaller than those at the park but I figure it’ll just help them be used to shooting in a more precise area. The net is held on by clips which I don’t really care for but it hasn’t been a problem yet. Overall I am extremely happy with this basketball hoop as I’ve been pricing similar ones and they were cheaply made for higher prices. ... show more

Great basketball goal! It has sturdy construction. You can fill the base with water or sand, or just lay sandbags on top of the base. Compared to our previous goal, the kids like the transparent backboard for looks, and the wheels for moving it. We can now roll this goal across the street and play full-court games with two baskets instead of just one. It is adjustable to a great range of heights - all the way up to 10 feet tall. This hoop took about an hour to fully assemble. It had very well drawn out instructions and there were no issues with the assembly at all. All the hardware installed easily and we're good quality. The finished product looks great and is extremely portable, way less heavy than our previous system. The handle makes it super easy to raise and lower the height, with indicators for the height and an intuitive lever system that even a child can use. We elected to fill it with water to make it more portable since we have an hoa and need to keep it in the side yard when not being used. It is easy to use and has held up to being wheeled back and forth several times the past month. I think it could stand to be slightly more robust, it does tend to squeeze a bit and is not perfectly solid, but is more than adequate for a portable system. For the price, I think it is a great value for the money and would absolutely highly recommend it. ... show more

This is on par with other basketball hoops that cost less than half the price. While the instructions are decent and you receive almost everything you need the craftsmanship isn't there. The tubes are soft metal that easily bends if you over tighten the bolts in the slightest. Several of the metal pieces arrived with scratches on them exposing the metal. You will need a 50lb weight in addition to filling the base with water or sand. Thankfully I have 50lbs to place on it but I was unaware that this was necessary. Even after I filled the base and placed a weight on top of it, the whole thing still wobbles easily. I didn't install the middle piece for fear it would be too unstable. The instructions state it is a 2 person job. You can put this together on your own but you will need something to stabilize some of the pieces while you assemble it and you will likely need a ladder of some sort to get it lifted into place. Once assembled it does have an easy to adjust height mechanism. The hoop appears to be sturdy. The back board has taken a beating and is in one piece. I just wouldn't pay $249 (current price) for this when you can get one of the same quality for significantly less. ... show more

My wife has been wanting a basketball goal so 'we' can get some exercise and I really liked the features of this adjustable height goal. It wasn't the most inexpensive goal but the others were either not adjustable or difficult to adjust and the price was inline with a Spalding goal I was looking at that didn't have as good an adjustment mechanism. I was surprised at how small and relatively light in weight the packaged product was which had me worried at first. Unboxing was very easy and putting the goal together was simple and straight forward with the included instructions and a second person. (The only negative on the instructions was they didn't show where the washers went on the bolts but it was fairly obvious.) The goal adjusts using a locking handle with a trigger, so you just pull the trigger and push up or down to change the height. The can also be put together as a 'two pole' (small children) or 'three pole' (adults) mount I was very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the product and greatly surprised at how easy the goal height adjustment is, making this an excellent buy. My wife is really happy with the goal and I can easily adjust it for her shorter height. I can definitely recommend this goal. ... show more

This goal is great. No need to buy new goals as you child grows, this has been great for my 4yo and 7yo. And I can even raise it higher for myself when I want. Assembly was a bit more of a pain than I was expecting, but not complicated. Great quality and it looks really nice. Absolutely recommend
