We installed this Poposoap 160gph submersible pump in a water feature in the garden that features a tropical mangrove tree. It's important to keep the tree wet with a decent water flow and the pump does a great job of moving water at a good rate in this special garden feature. The pump power is controlled by an outdoor wifi switch that turns on at sunrise and off at sunset, so water runs all day. We installed an aquarium filter bag around the pump, along with some bio balls to help reduce the need to clean the built-in filter often. The pump allows some degree of adjustment in the water flow rate with the external dial. Our preference is full flow, but in some situations, this control to diminish flow would be a welcome feature. The rubber feet provide a very good grip and aid in vibration control. We love these Poposaop pumps. Solidly build and made to last. And the price is very good. So far this has been a great pump for its purpose. I use it in my aquarium sump and it works well. I do not run it all of the time but it has worked well and has no issues. This pump does as described. It has a nice flow and it allows for adjustment. It has a sturdy feel and I expect it would last, but I have not had it long enough to say for sure. If you have a smooth surface for it to rest on, the feet suction nice.. Long power cord as well. Worth considering.

This small aquarium water pump works as it should and is relatively quiet. The flow rate knob on the front does reduce the flow somewhat but it's not a dramatic difference. It comes with two different diameter nozzles but they're different than the ones shown in the description. Instead of being held in place by a locking collar that threads onto the pump, they are simply force-fit into the existing unthreaded hole on top of the pump. ... show more

I thought it was bigger and didn't match the picture, pumps water but not as fast so be patient, I'm using it to drain my outdoor hottub.
