I’m really enjoying the tree light. It’s great. So many color options and fade options. The remote is not so great. Sometimes it works, and often it doesn’t. It won’t turn in or off, or change shades no matter how I press the buttons. The tree gets a 5 stars for performance, but it is cheap-looking with its ridiculously bad taping job. The tree is easy to assemble but the remote is very temperamental and I’ve not used the timer function. Some of the remote buttons don’t work at all but I can still get it to do what I want and it’s so pretty so I’m keeping it.

The colors on the remote do not correspond to the colors that you get on the tree when you press them. Orange is actually more of a white and the same with yellow. If you press a couple of the blues, you get more of a pink color. There is no pink such as is in the picture, only purple. That is very disappointing as the main attraction for me was that it would light up pink like a cherry blossom tree. The closest thing I can get to mixed colors like in the picture is that three separate lights change to three different colors separate from the main color that all of the other flowers have changed to. It seems as if the colors need to be recalibrated. Overall, a very pretty tree with beautiful colors, but very frustrating that it is malfunctioning so much. Purchased as a gift for my aunt. She has a very small living space & I thought this would make a great “holiday” tree since you can choose to use one color of lights at a time or you can use the color fade option. The remote control is convenient & easy to use.
