This spray takes a few applications to take the smell, but even with that, the smell wasn’t completely gone. It does smell good and even a lot better than it did, but unfortunately it wasn’t completely gone. In all fairness though, this smell from my dogs were deeply imbedded and both the bedding and the furniture, so it would’ve taken a miracle to get it completely out. I’m in love with this product. It doesn’t have a scent and it works very well! I’ve used every cleaner out there as I have chihuahuas and if you have them too then you understand. I get so sick of all those cleaner smells and this has zero scent. It’s wonderful!

We have 2 dogs and our soft surfaces (carpets, couches, blankets, area rugs, dog beds) absorb their smell. One of our dogs is aging and has skin issues so we can't bathe her as often as we'd like. She can be extra smelly at times, God love her. We work to keep her off of the furniture and carpets but she often breaks the rules. We tried fabric sprays intended to freshen fabrics and remove odors but all they would do is cover up the odor with strong smelling perfume-like scents for a few hours. I use this spray on our carpets and couches before and after vacuuming and it really eliminates the odors our baby girls leave behind. In full transparency, I haven't used this for removing urine from the carpet or furniture (we've had great luck with Rocco and Roxie), just to eliminate the overall dog funk smell. I have also used this as a pre-wash spray on machine washable area rugs, blankets, and dog bed covers before throwing them in the wash. It really helps remove the dog funk, not just cover it up. I see that they have a laundry booster so I will be trying that next instead of using the spray to prep the washable items since the spray is a bit pricey and better used elsewhere. The spray does not have a smell at all in my opinion so if you are looking for a scented product, this isn't for you. My only wish is that the spray came in a larger bottle with a continuous spray handle to better cover large areas of carpeting. I know this isn't the products intended use but I'd love to really soak the carpets before using the carpet steam cleaner to help wipe out the dog smell! I had no issues with shipping and the bottle was received intact. The sprayer works well. No clogs. The product removes odors so the effect lasts a long time. We let our dog outside to pee in our fenced yard after dark, and he got sprayed STRAIGHT in the face by a skunk. My spouse let him back into the house before he realized anything was wrong, but by then, the damage was done. We spent 90 minutes trying to wash a 110 pound dog who hates baths with the recommended mix of hydrogen peroxide-baking soda-dish soap (which of course you're not supposed to get near eyes or ears for obvious reasons), and then another hour cleaning carpets and couches, etc. Nonetheless, the house (and the dog) still STUNK!!! And I do mean REEKED. Out of sheer desperation, I ordered this (despite the high price tag). Our dog won't let us spray him with it, but we can spray it in our hands and then rub it on his head. Yes, the smell will briefly intensify (any dog owner should know that wet dog smells way worse than dry dog). But once it dries, it takes a significant amount of stench with it. We've used it on his dog bed, the couch, the carpet -- pretty much everything, and it took the smell out completely! We're still working on the pup himself, but it's gone from a severe, eye-burning chemical smell to not really being able to smell it unless you're right up in his face.     • Nothing works miraculously for skunk odor.

My dog was sprayed by a skunk while hiking early in the morning two days ago. I tried a home remedy of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and shampoo. I also used apple cider vinegar. They didn't work. So, I ordered this Pooph Skunk Odor Eliminator right away. It did arrive the same day. Pooph Skunkless Wonder worked to some degree. It worked well on secondary contact, such as clothes. The odor is less strong, although my dog still smells, especially his head. I think my sense of smell is becoming numb to the skunk odor, as I still slept with my dog. Pooph did not work well on his collar and LED collar, which received a direct spray. My pickup smells less now, although I still need to open the windows while driving. I gave it 3 stars because, as other reviewers said, this product is very expensive. Well, my dog and I will survive. ... show more
