    Keeps my pool algae-free year round. I use this in my above ground pool and after YEARS of battling algae I finally drained my pool and started fresh with POOL RX. It is so easy to use and so much less expensive than the gallons of chemicals and bags of shock I was constantly adding to try to keep my water clear.       • A Must Have and Use product for pool water management and balance
    I have used Pool RX for over a year now and will never go back to the normally prescribed pool water balance methods. I was having algie problems that resulted in my pool water turning green and was unable to shock it back to clear water. I tried Pool RX and it cleared up my water to crystal clear within 3 days and has, with Pool RX Boosters, maintained my pool water in a crystal clear appearance. I have been able to cut my chemical costs a great deal while simplifying my efforts to keep my pool crystal clear.     I have been using Pool Rx for about one year now. I recently purchased the Pool RX 332001 PoolRX+ Booster Blue Swimming Pool Algaecide, and my freshwater pool chemistry has been absolutely perfect all winter here in North Texas, despite dirt and leaves blown into the pool. No algae and crystal clear water. Another benefit has been a reduced need for chlorine, and surprisingly, there seems to be much less scale build-up (hard water) on the pool tiles.     When I received this it was all one hard clump looked old probably got hot at some point . The pool Rx+ unit worked wonders originally and I bought the booster because it wasn't working as well and that's what they said too do . It was a waste of my money it didn't do anything . I should have just bought a whole new pool RX+ unit but they said you could just use the booster. I emailed them about how I received the product they said it was fine just put in skimmer and let it dissolve so that's what I did after first day no sign of it working like the original unit did second day I had algae growing now my pool is all green and it's going to cost me more money to get it back to normal. Don't buy from this supplier I should have trusted the reviews I read on it there were a couple other people had almost identical problem with the booster from this supplier and now that I followed their directions they sent in email I don't have a product to send back for refund pretty smart of them to tell me to use it . I tried to email back after it didn't work and have gotten no response can't return to Amazon because I put in pool . I guess lesson learned next time it doesn't look right just return to Amazon without dealing with supplier. ... show more

    Let me first tell you that I live in central florida and have struggled with cloudy water and algae since owning this pool 9 months ago due to the warm weather. I’ve spent hours at the local pool store and a ridiculous amount of money on pool supplies doing what the pool store professionals tell me to do including shocking it each week, cleaning the pool filter twice per week, and adding an algaecide each week. There was algae on the ladder that would not come off no matter what we scrubbed it with. So, I turned to the Amazon shopping professionals, scoured over reviews and photos and decided on this Pool Rx+. I applied the product exactly like the package said. The next day, my pool looked beautiful! 6 weeks now of putting nothing but chlorine in it: the other chemical levels are perfect, the pool has never looked this fabulous and the algae on the ladder is GONE! Thank you my Amazon professional shopping buddies, I always look to you for great reviews and you didn’t steer me wrong! If you are having this algae problem…just buy this, you will be happy you did! CONS: the product was clumped into a brick instead of powder, but I took a screw driver and a hammer to break it up before adding it to the basket. Now, I would usually take off a star for this, but copious amounts of time, money, and stress were saved, so they are getting that star back!!     Works like a charm in a Florida pool. Had recurring instances of murky algae growth requiring substantial chemical use to correct. Been using PoolRx for a few years now with no recurrence. It pays for itself. Recommend
