This product is working great for my 1200 gallon pond in very frigid Michigan weather. The output is very good. It has great oxygenation and my pond has more often than not had open water. I still recommend using a pond heater to assure exchange of gases with this product. I would highly recommend.and plan on using this product and replacing with same as needed. Bought this for my pond due to it advertising strong aeration for pond de-icer. Well there is very little to no air being pushed through the hoses and it’s completely turned up. I noticed when I put it in the pond that it was barely doing anything so I brought it in and place it in my fish tank and the pic above is what I am getting!!! Buyers beware!!! ... show more

I bought this to replace a much heftier pump. The original pump was much more than I needed for my 400-450 gal pond, but because I have more fish in there than recommended, I always used a bigger pump. For me, the whole point of a pond is tranquility and the sound of the previous pump didn't contribute to that feeling. I finally put a timer on it so it only ran when I wouldn't be around. That pump finally gave out and I replaced it with this pump and I couldn't be happier - sorry I waited so long to do it. I can't hear this pump unless I'm right next to it AND I've moved it to a metal bench. If you have it on wood, dirt or any kind of surface that doesn't reflect sound, you won't hear it, either. I used different stones than the included ones which gives me more bubbles. I am SO pleased with this pump that I have ordered a larger one for my bigger pond. They include a huge length of tubing so you have the ability/freedom to place your stones or pump just about anywhere you want. ... show more

Update: the seller contacted me after seeing my review and gave me a refund for the product even though it was out of the refund period through Amazon. I would try other products from them. Purchased in November stopped working by January. This pushed less air in my pond than the small one we have for my 20 gallon fish tank. I thought maybe it stopped working due to heavy snow on the lines but that wasn’t the case. Although it sounded like it was working there was no air bubbles coming from the stones when in the water even after removing everything to ensure no blockage. We used the materials included with it and nothing else, kept the device under a shelter to keep it from getting snow/rain/ice on it and it lasted less than 90 days of working use.
