I absolutely love this couch. The color looks lovely, the leather is soft and not sticky or cold to the touch. It is so comfortable to lounge on and it looks absolutely stunning. One note during assembly is that one of the leg holes was plugged with something that I had to use a small knife to pop out so don’t fret if one of the legs doesn’t screw in right away! My only complaint is that I wish each of the back cushions was about a half inch wider. They are just a smidge too small and show the brown backing of the couch. ... show more

The product showed up in a large box and the man delivering helped me bring it in the room (with a little bit of coaxing). All I had to do was unbox it and screw in the legs and it was ready to rock! Gorgeous couch, I get so many compliments on it! But, needs to be hidden by a blanket to keep my dogs from scratching it. Also, leather was very dry when it showed up, so I gave it a leather treatment. Otherwise, would give the couch a five. It’s a show stopper.

I bought the 88.5" sized sofa and lounge chair. Liked them so much that I bought the 72" apartment sofa too. The 72" sofa is on the right in the photo and clearly a much darker color. Not only is it darker, but it's much stiffer as well. The first sofa and lounge chair are really soft and contour to your body. The other sofa is firm and you bounce when first sitting down. I contacted poly and bark directly and here is their reply: "Each individual panel leather on any single item is cut from all the same hides and using the same dye lots to ensure that the item itself has more or less consistent coloration throughout. Taking care to do this at the manufacturing level prevents an item having a 'patchwork' appearance on a single item. However, you may find subtle variations between any two or more whole items which show as slight differences in color, grain, and finish...." I think we can all agree the color is more than a "subtle" difference. I'm disappointed since my family and I really like these sofas. Still trying to decide if we should return the one sofa or keep it mismatched and stiffer like it is. ... show more

I had the same couch for 19 years, so this was a big deal. I read reviews for a year before deciding on this couch. I with that I had understood the leather better. you do have to be careful about spilling, oil and such, and with three teenagers it can be nerve racking. Aniline leather is soft, and develops over time with wear, but it also soaks up anything that comes in contact with it. I rubbed something on it for this type of leather, but you have to keep doing it. Also, amazon kept updating the tracking on the day of delivery with the wrong information. First they said the delivery company tried to call and i didn't answer so they would try again the next business day. then they updated a couple of hours later saying they had come to my house and I was there so they would try again another day. I knew nobody had called or come by so I was pissed. I called the delivery company both times and they said they didn't have anything in their system about either. They showed up that day. I tipped the guys each $20 because it was super heavy and they actually carried it up my stairs. ... show more
