    • Great Sound Without All The Speaker Wires
I connected my smart TV via the included optical cable and used the TV's settings to disable the TV's internal speakers. That optical connection goes to the sound bar. The other speakers (sub-woofer and two rear speakers connect to the soundbar via Bluetooth. So, there are no speaker wires running all over the place back to the sound bar. Those other speakers are all powered, so they each need to plug into an AC outlet. Most homes have enough outlets that the speaker's power cord can reach them. The sound is Amazing. Strong bass. You can control the overall volume. You can also control the volume of the rear speakers and their balance. The best part is you can control the voice channel so that it won't get lost in the sound effects and music tracks. It may seem a little pricey, but after you experience it, you will see that it is well worth it. ... show more

    • Great sound thats easy to setup
The surround sound has a very full sound. Has a few options of changing the bass/surround sound/sound and a voice button that brings out the voices in movies/tv. Without it activated the voices are slightly overpowered by the surround sound but easy fix of hitting the button and it brings them up on par with everything else. The wireless speakers only need a power source to plug into so you have pretty good freedom of where you want them without running a wire from main unit. I had an issue with speakers popping and had a question posted and answered by the manufacturer. I got new internet service a few weeks later and the popping went away. Turns out it was the fault of an old modem/router interfering with the satellite speakers and I’ve since had no issues. The sound is fantastic when watching movies and music sounds great through the Bluetooth connection. I wish there was more control over sound options with the remote, but for the price it’s a great system. A few reviewers noted they didn’t notice a difference with the “voice” enhancement function, but I think it definitely makes a difference. ... show more

    • Popping sound from rear speakers
The issue The rear speaking intermittently pop. Per the mfg website, I have moved my wifi router across the room and ensured no other wireless devices near it... except for my TV, appleTV, and xbox which are wireless now that I have moved the wifi router about 15' from the speakers. I have been dealing with this since purchase. Support asked for my s/n and never resolved anything. Their support site is riddled with this same problem going back to 2018 and the promise is a patch that has never been released. I really regret keeping these past the return period (hoping POLK would fix this) ... show more

    • Tremendous Bang for The Buck!
I suppose that if you have lots of money $$$$ that you would want a higher wattage system (bigger speakers, etc.). BUT, if you find this on a big sale as I did, you will be AMAZED what you can get for this amount of money. It's probably even breakthrough pricing at a normal price, but it came on a flash sale deal and we snagged it. SO HAPPY with it. Right out of the box and into action in about 10 minutes, and Oh My Goodness - Such good sound! We had a more expensive system with 800 watts and a bigger sub-woofer, but it lacked the rear speakers and it had electronic glitches, so far THIS has been glitch-free and we are DELIGHTED! ... show more

    • The surroundsound is the average at best. OK value for wireless OK surround sound.
Adjustments to the sound are very limited. The remote control is very basic with very few adjustable parameters. When I attempt to increase the center voice volume I noticed very little difference with the voice boost on or off. I actually attempted to contact Polk audio support online 2 times and never did receive a reply. Basically I had a few questions about the functionality/adjustable parameters for the surround system. There is little to no information online about the system even at Polk audio’s website. Polk audio’s other products have a lot of information available with videos online and at their website. The bass has to be turned down quite a bit to avoid drowning out the other volumes. If the bass is much above level two it begins popping and cracking when watching main stream movies in dolby surround. Don’t expect any big volume for a large area or when listening to music. I do have a hardwired surround system in my theater room downstairs and trust me when I say that this does not even compare to a hardwired system with a regular AVR receiver. Compact and convenient “YES” , but Average at best when it comes to surround sound. I am a sound connoisseur and I may be overly picky about a good sound system. I believe this system will suffice the average listener. If you want to be wowed with incredible surround sound at an affordable price you’ll have to shop elsewhere. ... show more
