  • It's worth it for the price
I was looking for a big cheap shed and this shed is well worth it foe the price. - Easy to build if you carefully follow the instructions. Needs at least 2 people. It'll take awhile to build but you'll eventually get there. - The shed may seem flimsy at first when building but once everything is built it will hold. - There are dents but you can put it back in shape easily. - I bought some foam spray to seal all the cracks and open areas to keep moist and bugs out. I also bought some steel and rubber washers instead of the plastic washers it came with... only for the roof so the water won't go in. These are the washers I used (Biaungdo 120 Pcs #10 x 1/2" Neoprene Washers, Stainless Steel) Overall I am satisfied. Don't listen to the other reviews who says the holes are not aligned because obviously they made a mistake. Ive made alot of mistakes but can easily fix... it happens. I have no experience in building sheds. I used an electric drill to screw faster. Your going to be screwing so many so be prepared. ... show more

  • Good shed, lousy instructions
Pretty sturdy shed for the money - good size. The instructions were mostly drawings that did not give you any warnings about proper parts orientation. That is where most assembly problems originated - not being able to properly orient the wall and roof panels. This structure is intended to be built on a solid surface. If you don't buy the frame base advertised with it, you should either pour a slab or build a base of your own. I used 2X6 as supports for a three 4X8 3/4" sheet floor. This gave me something solid to build on and keep the walls square as I put it up. All the panels were coated with a thin plastic that I chose to leave it on. It will peel off pretty quickly but it provides some weathering protection initially. The kit provides some rudimentary tools and surprisingly they work well. The little screwdriver is a keeper and we added it to our basic tool kit. There appears to be more than enough hardware in the package. The end gables for the roof are very thin and easily deformed. I straightened them out enough to use them. The parts are thin, and very lightweight. The structure's strength and integrity comes from being assembled - very like the cheap unibody construction of today's cars and aircraft. Since our area is prone to high winds, I will probably add some interior framing to reinforce the structure. Even though I consider the instructions to be inadequate, if you know what you are doing, you can build a decent shed without breaking the bank. ... show more

  • cheap - made in China
"Amazon's choice" you let me down!! I can't strongly recommend this product. I spent probably12-14 solid hours assembling plus 6 hours from my wife. We are moderately handy folks and I have all the power tools needed. The metal arrived bent and damaged. Instructions are poor. The holes line up about 50% of the time. But the metal is so flimsy you can screw straight into it without drilling, so that helps. The edging around the roof is laughable. cheap and flimsy. There are probably 1000 screws in the bag and couple hundred bolts. The bolts are flimsy like the rest. This product needs a redesign. Poor quality. I would, in retrospect, gladly spend more for a simpler assembly and more sturdy construction with good instructions. ... show more

  • VERY Pleasantly surprised, Great Customer Service! See UPDATES BELOW
One of my hobbies lately has become buying some things from Amazon that are priced much lower than I can find locally. The least expensive I could find a shed of this size and construction was around $1,100. This was just under 400 delivered. It came in two boxes which were slightly damaged but not too bad. I checked the manual and everything seemed to be included. While the instruction manual could have been done a little bit better it is perfectly usable as is if you pay attention to detail. Others here have complained about holes not lining up I did not experience that, except for when I did not pay close enough attention to the drawings to realize that you could install that particular piece in more than one orientation. Undoing it and putting it in the right way made all the holes line up. I didn't try to assemble this all in one day. I spread it out over about a week to a week and a half due to having other things that I had to do. I'm pleasantly surprised. It was not that difficult it seems quite sturdy. Everybody is right about taking the plastic off so I chose to not bother to take the plastic off at all. I figure it will come off in time. It may also act as a protectant for a short amount of time while it's on there, which can't hurt. The lock and hasp is cheap and should probably be replaced with something a little more sturdy. Other than that it's a phenomenal value. There's a great video embedded in the pictures with the item that helps fill the gaps in the manual. If you have the patience even if you're not incredibly mechanically inclined you can build the shed yourself and you will have it saved yourself at least 60%. UPDATE 1/2025 The shed did great until our first snow storm, which happened while I was away for work and was 16.5 inches of heavy, wet snow. The roof did not survive (nor should it have, I lost large limbs on and old growth oak tree nearby) however it collapsed in a manner that will allow a fairly easy repair once spring rolls around. I will be using stronger beams this time and then it should be able to stand up to most anything. If you live in snowy areas, you may want to reinforce the stock roof beams, or at least tie them together to better distribute the load and keep them from twisting, as these seem to have... _-------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 03/20/2025----------------------------------------------------------- I contacted the company via the link on the product page and they told me it was under warranty. The sent me a PDF of the manual and parts list and told me to let them know what parts failed. They sent me new ones NO CHARGE and it only took about 3 hours to fix the fully collapsed roof. I added 40$ worth of threaded rods to the roof assembly to strengthen it. Time will tell, but this seller has been great to me!!!! ... show more
