I'm thrilled with the look and quality of this lamp. It arrived thoughtfully packaged and requiring a small amount of assembly. The lamp shape is in three pieces that come together easily with no tools. You velcro the flat shade into a circle and then clip in the top and bottom circular frames. It all went together with ease and feels very sturdy. The shade is gorgeous. I love the color and texture. It looks so high-end. It honestly looks more expensive than the other lamps in my livingroom that cost much more. The cord is long and can be fed back into the base so that it is not dangling (can be custom sized in terms of length). The ceramic base looks great. It has a mid-century modern vibe. The taupe part of the glaze has a very slightly yellow tone to it (not the main ivory glaze but the accent glaze). But when I stand back it looks just ivory and taupe, so even if you don't have yellowish tones in your surrounding decor, this should look fine. Overall, especially for the low price, I am so impressed and pleased with this lamp. ... show more

I recently purchased this lamp and overall, I’m happy with it, but there are a few pros and cons worth mentioning. Pros: • The design is sleek and stylish, adding a nice modern touch to my space. • The light is bright enough for a small room or as an accent lamp. • It’s a good size for a desk or side table, not too bulky, and fits nicely in tighter spaces. Cons: • One issue I’ve encountered is that it’s hard to reach under the lampshade to turn on the light. The switch is positioned in a way that makes it difficult to access, which can be frustrating, especially when you need to turn it on quickly. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still think this lamp is a great choice for those looking for a simple and stylish light for their room. Bought these for bedside lamps at my mom's house and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they look. The manufacturing is very clever, allowing for the lamps to be packaged very efficiently, but it also means you have to assemble the lampshade, and you can really see the seam where the edges meet and other details that make it look less premium.
