It doesn’t fit perfectly with my desk set-up, which is smaller than most desks (and includes a desk mat), but the quality is great and I love that the wooden dividers come out, in case you don’t want to keep just pens in the main part of this holder. The front section can also be swapped, if you want the 3 holes to be on the other side, which is great for right handed people v.s. left handed people. The height is also great for taller pens, so they aren't falling over, which is a common issue I run into with a lot of other pen holders. ... show more

This is a great little thing that definitely helps you keep organized whatever handful of small things you wanna keep organized. I use mine to hold whatever book I'm reading, two journal-sized notebooks, two pocket-sized notebooks, a soundbar remote, a box of dice, and a pen. The hole in the front-middle is far too small for my phone, a Samsung Galaxy, but other reviews helped me expect that, and besides, there's no slot through which you could feed a charging cable, so that would be useful. If you want a sense of this middle hole's dimensions, it's where I fit my Sony NW-A55 Walkman--a digital music player. You can comfortably fit a business card in there. The box comes with a pair of wooden (bamboo?) inserts that divide its main storage section into rough quarters for organization, but these slide out without needing to apply much force, if any, and outside of the box they keep a small storage profile. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase. If yoy would benefit from keeping a lot of things stored vertically and within reach, you can't go wrong here, especially at this price. Just don't expect to fit a phone in that front slot! But you can definitely find any number of other uses for it. ... show more
