It works great. We needed a way to heat water for camp showers. It works so well that I had to add cold water because I did not h think it would heat up the water so fast!

    • it works but.........
I heated a 5 gallon bucket of water to 154 degrees, the thermometer that comes with it is crazy, it is 20 degrees off until the water reaches about 120 degrees, then it will run within a few degrees of laser thermometer, it is fine for what I need, hot enough to clean rags I use around my shop, I tried it in a 3 gallon bucket of water, it would only reach 160 degrees, bottom line I am happy with it, but if you need to boil water in a bucket, it isn't gonna do it, if you should need to heat 5 gallons of soup, it is perfect (doubt I will ever need to heat 5 gallons of soup, who ever heard of that?). ... show more

    • Takes way too long..
Should have read the reviews first. This turned out to be a waste of time & money. I had it plugged in for four hours & the little inflatable pool I have went up 1 degree. Would need 3 or 4 of these going all at once to actually work, which isn'tw worth it. I'm sure it's great for a bucket of water, but you could do the same thing by boiling water on your stove. ... show more
