    • Same spring dimensions as original equipment!
I was slightly hesitant to buy this strut-coil set because I had read that some less expensive aftermarket manufacturers will use thinner springs. Not the case here! Thickness was identical (within my caliper's error tolerance) to the original springs. Also: Unit fit like a glove and the car has regained it's original smoother ride! I strongly suggest anyone attempting this as DIYer, to get a strut spreader tool which is used to help open the clamshell where the strut resides. Much more secure and less damaging than shoving a screwdriver or a wrecking bar into the slot and prying it open. This one worked for me: "BILITOOLS Universal Strut Spreader Tool 16mm Hexagon Drive Expansion 5.0 – 10.5 mm". Not super durable for a working auto repair shop, but perfect for a few DIY jobs if used carefully. ... show more
