  • Works & no Ill effects!
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
I use on my huge Maine Coon Kitty. He’s an indoor cat but my dog goes in & out so they both need treatment. It’s affordable & does the trick. Just keep the date on your calendar of when applied & when to apply next. You don’t want to start flea treatments when you have an infestation or something. Then that makes it all the more difficult. My cat hates getting flea drops so I make sure to apply while he’s feeding his face & otherwise occupied. I hold his scruff while he’s eating, talk gently & it goes on quickly & last the entire time said on package. Decent price & same ingredients as expensive name brands. No ill effects. ... show more

  • Works but only works for about 3 weeks not a month
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
I like that it has the same ingredients as Advantage plus and so much cheaper. Works for my fur babies

  • Works for 1 month
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
Product was not harmful to my cats. Worked well for one month. I used one bottle per cat per month. I only needed one box for a couple months for 2 of my cats and they were flee free.

  • Worked GREAT!!
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
This is a truly great product. I use it on both my indoor/outdoor cats and never have seen a flea or tick and we live in a very rural area. It was very easy to apply; the cats hardly notice.

  • Finally! So pleased.
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
Finally found something that works. I have been talking about this for over a year. Not this product, but flea traetments. I have gone through Frontline Plus (best, but after two weeks, fleas start to appear), PetArmor Plus (same ingr. as Frontline Plus, but for some reason it was dropping effectiveness after a week), BioSpot (no, just no, didn't do a thing), Adam's Flea and Tick Spray (really great if you do it every two week, but the smell in the house can get potent and the cat being a little wild still was yeah, haha), and Adam's Flea and Tick drops (nothing, terrible). It's our backyard that is the problem. The rats have been using our neighborhood as a place to go through. They bring fleas all over the place. I don't like to use harsh sprays because of the birds we always have around, and the dogs use the backyard a lot. Well, I finally can say that it's been almost two weeks and this product is still going strong. I'm getting the cat version for the cat now because she was on Revolution from the vet, but I'd rather something I can purchase at a lower price and on my own, without going to the vet. I have two dogs who get an allergic reaction really bad from just one flea bite. I have noticed that with my older dog, she is sleeping better and finally has stopped scratching. I was having to do quite a lot to ease her pain. For her, even if the flea bit her days ago, she'd still be scratching. I thought it was environmental and now I see that the allergy itchies just keep up for days after. A note about this product though. I live in Washington state. You may have a hit or miss with effectiveness depending on where you live, and how many pets you have. This one worked for me. I'm seriously overjoyed with this product. And the best part is the affordability. I have been watching the Advantage II but it was just too expensive for me with all the animals I have to dose. But this one is GREAT. None of the dogs got sick and what I reallllllly liked was that it absorbed within hours. The BioSpot stayed slimy the entire month. But Advecta had no reactions (some of our dogs are extremely sensitive) and it absorbed fast. There was no scent to it. If you have a question, feel free to ask. ... show more

  • Caused A Itchy Rash & Fur Loss on 2 of 5 Cats
Size: Cats Over 9 lbs
I have 5 indoor cats. Someone recommended this for my cats to save me some money. After putting on my cats, 2 of the 5 ended up getting a horrible itching red rash and a lot of fur loss. One has even lost several pounds due to the stress probably from all the itching. It has taken more than a month for it to start to clear up and we still are not there yet. I’ve used other brands like Frontline Plus and Advantage and never had this problem. I absolutely cannot recommend this to anyone. I’ve spent so much more on treating the bad reaction than I would have ever spent otherwise. One of my cat’s reaction was worse and now has lost weight and hides due to the itching. She is getting better, but it’s going to be a slow road to recovery. I know every cat is different, but 2 cats having a reaction at the same time is bad. Use at your own risk! ... show more

  • AVERAGE
Size: Cats 5-9 lbs
Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. Still see some fleas a week after application. The amount of fluid in the tubes vary drastically, some tubes have more some have less, some tubes have only a few drops. The value is great if it actually works. I am very skeptical if I'm wasting money for a piece of mind or it's an affordable & effective choice. ... show more

  • Better than the name brand!
Size: Cats 5-9 lbs
As a cat fosterer I try to find ways to save $. Most generic flea products are useless but this product works better than Advantage II & has the exact same active ingredients at 50% less cost. No oily residue. No skin irritation or hairloss. Will buy again.
