  • Excellent gift for kids!
Style: Candy
Love that this is so much more interactive than a toy! My 8 year old loved it! She loves arts and crafts and cooking and thought this was the best mix of all of those things. The instructions were clear enough for her to use with minimal help from me and she loved showing me the things she independently made. Would definitely purchase as a gift again. ... show more

  • Super fun
Style: Exploding Candy
My daughter got this for Christmas, and loves it. It’s got super clear directions. You’re given so much valuable information. We had fun with the candy. The box it came in is durable, and holds all the components nicely between projects. This was a really good price, and definitely worth it.

  • Fun candy making
Style: Candy
I got this for the kids for Christmas. They have made gummies so far. They are yummy and the directions are relatively easy to follow. Unfortunately the container is not big enough and some of the goo went over the edge in the microwave. Next time we will just use a larger microwaveable container instead of the o w that came with the set. Otherwise…super fun and delivers what it promises. ... show more

  • Fun for young kids

This was a fun way to talk science and keep the kids attention. Product was good quality, did need a few household products to do most of the experiments, but everything was common in homes.

  • Fun project but too much work
Style: Candy
This seems like it could be a very fun gift for the little one in your life, however I didn't realize how much work and supplies goes into it. I was anticipating this to be everything you need, but it's pretty much just a recipe book with a few "special" tools, which are just plastic spoons and a beaker. You have to buy all the ingredients separately. The only candy this includes is the jelly mix, which is the only "experiment" I tried out because I'm not running to the store spending an extra $50+ on ingredients for a silly little project. If YOU are willing to then go for it, like I said I think it could be a very fun activity, you just have to be willing to put the time and money into it. It's like a kids' science experiment investment lol. As for the jellies, they turned out pretty good. I made the sour kind with the citric acid the kit includes. The texture was grainy, not your typical store bought gummy, but what do you expect with literally 4 ingredients; water, gelatin, jelly mix, citric acid. As for taste they actually weren't bad. A little bitter but you could easily adjust the ingredient amounts to your personal liking. So in conclusion, would I buy this again? As a gift for another kid sure I would, with a fair warning to the parent of all the work they're in for haha. But it's obviously a novelty, really just a silly fun "science experiment" for the kids. So have fun! ... show more

  • Fun Product!

Great fun activity to use with kids and family time. Directions are a bit tough at times but overall it gets the family to do something fun and interactive together. This kit comes with A LOT which gives everyone options and tons of activities to do.

  • Disappointed
Style: Unicorn Poop
Don’t get this. You are going to pay $35 for cornstarch food coloring and sticks. There is nothing you can actually make in this box. Complete waste of time and money. UPDATE: the seller reached out to me and worked hard to make this right for my daughter. I really appreciate that so much so I added stars. ... show more

  • Neat product!
Style: Candy
The kit is super cute. The booklet that comes with it has dozens of recipes to make different versions of candy at home. My kids loved the fun shapes that the gummy mold contained (pandas, strawberries, icecream cones, ect.). I was a little surprised that there weren’t more contents in the kit and that most the recipes required things from your own kitchen. I’ve never bought a kit like this before so that may be common. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and it was a great Christmas present. ... show more
