  • OEM Charger Works well
As expected, this works well out of the box and has zero compatibility issues with the PS VR2 controllers

  • does the trick
quality construction, as expected from Sony. Solid connection, if a little fiddle to align just right so they start charging, bright blue light to confirm you did it right. Keeps the controllers safe and charged, ready for your next session!

  • Does exactly what it intends..
This PS VR2 charger port is very convenient. The pins make it all the worth,as just adjusting them to each controller without having to worry about exerting so much energy after hours of VR gaming and find all 127 ways to hurt your back while putting them on a charger ,is just way too much. After plugging the pins into the charger port ,then place them both on the port with ease. Might take you several times to get used to but very worth it ... show more

It's where I put my controllers and when I pick them up... they're charged

  • You just have to understand how to use it!
So first of all, this is a must have for any PSVR 2 owner. I noticed some reviewers expressing frustration about the controllers not charging and not having any indication as to whether they are in contact with the charging port or whether they are being charged or not. Other reviewers have mentioned that there should be a light indicating such. I think these reviews are somewhat inaccurate. It’s not totally obvious, but if you look at the back of the controller, right above the spot that has to connect with the charger, you will see a white light briefly activate if it is correctly connected. This light does not stay lit unfortunately, and it is true that there is not an indication as to when the controller is fully charged. A really easy way to think about this so that you aren’t having difficulty, is that each controller can only go in one spot. You can’t put the right side controller in the left and vice versa. You will notice an indentation in the charger that fits the trigger button on the controller. As long as this indentation is matched up with the trigger button when you set it down, you almost certainly have it placed correctly. The charging port uses magnetism to keep the controller in place, so you will also “feel” when the controller is in contact with the charger. I have this 4/5 stars because this stuff isn’t more evident, and because it requires you to connect these small, easy to lose attachments/adaptors in order to charge. But if you follow my advice, I don’t think you will be frustrated like some of the other reviewers have been. ... show more

  • The charger that should have came with the VR2...
Unless you want a mess of cables and USB hubs, You're going to need this to charge your VR2 remotes. Sony really should have included it with the VR2 from the start.
